Great location, friendly, and welcoming associates
Pros:

I’ve stayed at the Western Milwaukee, three of the last four years for the USA TRIATHLON national championships. The location is outstanding for those events and access to the hub of a very clean and safe city. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, and the staff goes the extra mile to make the stay pleasant and welcoming.

Nice stay but room could use a few updates
Pros:

We did a one night stay at the Westin for a quick anniversary celebration. Staff was very friendly and quick to respond to requests. This was our 3rd time staying at this property since 2018 and while the hotel is nice, the rooms are showing some wear & tear that they need to take care of to ensure this property stays one of the better hotels in Downtown Milwaukee. Our room had peeling wall paper, a scratched up headboard and banged up cabinets. It was little stuff but I expect more from the Westin brand.

A True Example of Outstanding Hospitality
Pros:

A huge shout out to Tanya, Front Desk Supervisor at the Westin Milwaukee, for her outstanding service during a recent event at the hotel.

Due to event logistics, hundreds of vendor packages arrived under the same name, creating a very challenging situation. While the event team struggled to manage the issue, Tanya stepped in, took control, and helped each vendor with professionalism, kindness, and a smile.

As an event planner who works with hotels regularly, I truly appreciate exceptional service when I see it. There are people who do their jobs well, and there are those who truly excel — Tanya is one of those people. Thank you for going above and beyond!

For any overnight stay, Westin Milwaukee would easily be our first choice again
Pros:

The location was really convenient! It was a large and clean hotel that was near many of the attractions we planned to visit. It wasn't a far way to get to and from the hotel. Parking was fairly convenient and there were a lot of food options and amenities available right on site.

Cons:

I thought it was confusing that check in was on a different floor than the main ground level. Other than that though everything was really nice.

Location room and staff was great
We came for Summerfest and the location was in walking distance. We enjoyed our time at the Summerfest. Great food and friendly people. I would stay at the Westin again.

Cons:

Breakfast was not included in hotel price

Great place for any even and they allow dogs!
Pros:

Staff, bar, location is walkable to so many places. They love dogs!

During our stay we called down for extra sheets. We waited an hour and a half then at that point had fallen asleep. We woke up to the staff walking into our room and turning our lights on. It was horrible and almost 11pm. With no apology either. Additionally the room was not cleaned well. Garbage, used ear buds, and more by the beds and side tables. The shower and bathroom were not cleaned well too. Additionally there were marks on the headboard which was strange. For the price was not worth it at all and would not stay ever again or reccommend.
