The property itself was wonderful. We stayed in one of the superior rooms with its own private hot spring bath. The staff were wonderful as well and everything about the hotel was great.

What we found though is there really isn’t much to do around the area and not many restaurants that aren’t at the mall.

So if you stay here, plan your day to just hang out at the hotel and eat at the hotel. There is a lot to do from the planetarium to renting bikes, to playing tennis and chilling in the baths.

朝食のバイキングが7:00からなので8:30に彦根城に行きたかったが遅くなってしまった。
もう少し早く始まれば観光がしやすいと感じました。

部屋からルームへのインターホンの繋ぎ方の案内が明確でなかったり
チェックアウトの時間を伝えられていなかったり、
プラネタリウムでの説明が早口過ぎて
禁止事項などの説明の棒読み。

肝心なプラネタリウム内の椅子がリクライニングがあるというような、
お客さんが知るべき情報の案内は皆無。
プラネタリウム内は薄暗いので
リクライニングの存在に気付かないまま、
首を痛めながらの星空観察となりました。
観察を終えてからリクライニングの存在に
気付きすごく残念な気持ちに。

あと、9:00から11:00
窓ガラスを掃除するのでカーテンを閉めていてくださいとのことでしたが、
優雅なチェックアウトまでのひととき、
湖畔の景色を楽しむ時間がなくなったので
せっかくのレイクビューも台無しでした。

施設の設備の内容よりも、
スタッフ一人ひとりの心遣いの足りなさが
目立つホテルだなと感じました。

Nice sports facilities, but not friendly to tourists with tattoos. Was extremely limited to activities on property. Outside of fine dining the closest dining option was at the mall which was a 20 minute walk away.
