Our stay at Muong Thanh Buon Me Thuật was dissapointed!
Pros:

The location and the staff are excellent

Cons:

Even though the room was spacious and remodeled compared to when we stayed 3 years ago, it was not done properly! The hotel did not meet its 5* rating. The carpet that you walked on is not even and the bathroom leaks water all over the floor whenever you took a bath. We had to changed room after one night due to a foul smoking odor that staff could not fixed. Breakfast time was from 6:00 a.m. till 9:30a.m., but at 8:30 or even at 8:00 a.m, lots of dishes were emptied and not refilled. Food quality, even local Vietnamese food, was mediocre.

Pros:

Better equiped than Muong Thanh grand hotel

Cons:

No invoice for customer because I paid via booking, though I checked with Muong Thanh prior to book online. Very inconvenient.
