Look around first
Pros:

Stayed the night here on recommendation from a blogger the wife follows. Place is run down and rooms are tucked away in a back alley which is the rear of other businesses and is very unattractive. Staff spoke little English which is fine but had little idea on what western tourists may need. Hotel is positioned close and handy to bars and restaurants. At $28AUD probably fair but a bit run down.

Typical Asian style budget hotel
Pros:

I stayed here one night as part of my 2022 north - south road trip.

This is a pretty typical Thai / Asian style budget hotel the likes of which can be found all over the region.

It's perfectly suitable for a one night stay but it is not worthy of more than three out of five dots based on a walk-in rate of 690 THB per night.

Actually, I was tempted to give it two out of five but the room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was very friendly.

There is some (limited) parking for those who self-drive.

What is going on with the alarm?
Pros:

Overall for the price this was a good hotel. Not sure why but there was an alarm going off all night long. I think I will avoid this hotel in the future because of this. I was talking to some locals and they told me that the alarm is going on constantly and the hotel doesn’t fix it.

Pros:

Siisti hotelli, soveltui erinomaisesti yhden yön stoppiin matkalla saarelle Ranongin lähellä. Huoneet hyvässä kunnossa, mutta ei kovin kauniit, hyvin pelkistetyt. Ystävällinen palvelu vastaanotossa.

สะดวกในเรื่องของทำเลที่ตั้งเนื่องจากอยู่ใกล้ตลาด และใกล้แหล่งท่องเที่ยวในตัวเมือง ใช้สำหรับพักเพื่อทำการเดินทางต่อไปยังเกาะพยาม มีความสะดวก มีรถสองแถวที่ไปท่าเรือผ่านหน้าโรงแรม

The Worst
Pros:

Simply the worst. Don't even think of staying here. The lobby shown in the picture is a facade. The actual hotel rooms are in a dingy building behind the one shown in the photo. There are no front windows in the room. The rear window faces a slab of stone (might be better on upper floors). I was hit by a powerful smell of disinfectant and insect spray when I entered the room. I could not get it to go away, with or without the air conditioning. And it's noisy. And it too me a half-hour to check into this awful room because there was a large party ahead of me and apparently only one person handling check-in. I checked out as soon as I could in the morning, abandoning two additional days for which I had prepaid. You've been warned.

Friendly staff, room is OK
Pros:

A young guy who on duty as a receptionist, bellboy, service, etc.
He work with friendly and service mind.
The room just okay for take a rest for a while before take a boat trip.
It's located in center of Ranong and easy to walk to someplace for drink some BEER!!!!
