Location and views
Little cramped
The Tresanton is a very individual and stylish hotel arranged over three levels. Everywhere is beautifully designed and comfortable. Wonderful views on the dining terrace as we ate our breakfast over the harbour. Our bedroom had a great sea view and was extremely comfortable.

Both of us found the mattress too hard - but that is of course down to personal preference.
Missed having a fridge for milk etc
We loved the Hotel Tresanton. It was expensive but well worth it. We had room 26 which is very high so you should check the room number if you have any mobility issues. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was the highlight of our 24 day stay. Our server, Izzy in the bar was amazing.
Lovely, clean with an attentive friendly staff. St Mawes is a sweet Cornish location for a special holiday.
Menu a little boring , heavy on fish which is not my favorite.

Hotel was perfect, staff very friendly. Our room was very clean and spacious with a great view of the sea. The food was amazing!
The location and everything about the hotel was amazing. The food was exceptional and beautifully presented.
Work was being done on a new patio which will have wonderful views of the bay, but sadly was unfinished on our visit.

Beautifully kept and spotlessly clean. Very good evening meal and breakfast both days.
Would have preferred to have the car parked on site but understand why this is not possible.
Would lave liked a small fridge in the bedroom to keep fresh milk in.

overlooking the bay at St Mawes . The design of rooms had been well thought out and had the “Olga Polizzi “?touch. The service was excellent as was the cuisine and the staff were welcoming and took an interest in their clientele

Weather!
Wonderful sea view from our room. Comfortable, warm, clean and tastefully furnished. Lovely lounge with roaring log fire which we enjoyed with a coffee while awaiting our room key. Attractive restaurant, excellent food and helpful staff.
Quite an uneven walk (unfortunately in pouring rain) from the main building to our room. Access to the room was via an external spiral staircase. Obviously not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Although umbrellas are provided it was difficult to use these on the route due to the narrow walkway, extensive greenery etc.
Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The atmosphere was very comfortable
