Great and very friendly hosts. A simple place, worth the price. Breakfast was chia seeds with fruit. I fully recommend it!

De enthousiasme en vriendelijkheid van de gastvrouw en gastheer. Tevens overlegde de gastvrouw vriendelijk wat wij wilden voor ontbijt en heeft de gastvrouw ook een diner ( hadden wij gevraagd ) gemaakt voor ons.

Świetne miejsce do spania i spędzenia czasu na Sri Lance.
Przemiła właścicielka z wielkim sercem i pięknym uśmiechem.
Pyszne śniadania i super pokoje z pięknym ogrodem.
Serdecznie polecam wszystkim i jak tylko wrócę na Sri Lankę to na bank do tego miejsca.

Excellent owner, able to assist with organizing tuk tuk and driver for Sigiriya and sightseeing. Also arranged taxi for us to Kandy. Room had A/C. Breakfast included. Is walking distance to cave temple.

The family owned Shan inn hotel offers very comfortable cozy room with very nice garden behind. Chathuri, the owner of hotel is so lovely and kind. She just has this perfect friendly personality that makes travellers feel comfortable and safe. Also, her and her family has very good communication the whole time as they always respond my requests and questions. I loved getting coffee in the back cafe and chatting with her! :) They know good local tours as well. So I went a jeep safari (with driver name Hasintha), he was also very kind and it was so much fun!!! Shan inn - it can give you the best hospitality the travellers can ever ask for!

清潔で広くてバルコニーも付いていてとても良かった

Perfect host. A welcoming family who will put all their heart to provide you with the best service. It felt like being home. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was really nice. I highly suggest you to stay Shan Inn Dambulla if you want to know what real Sri Lankan hospitality is.

隣がオーナーの住居で。チェックイン後には人が見当たらなかった。部屋に水がなく、焦った。
翌日の朝食からオーナーと親しくなったので、いろいろ解決したが。

The hostess was absolutely lovely and welcoming which is really appreciated as I was travelling solo. She helped with any questions I had - she even invited me round for dinner. There was a problem with my booking which meant the rooms were over booked, she found me somewhere else to stay so can’t comment on the rooms.

Vi overnattede her for at tage til Sigiriya, selve byen hotellet lå i var ikke noget særligt, men hotellet og dem der har det var helt fantastisk

Nice and basic guesthouse right next the Golden Temple complex. Highly suggested for a quick stay to visit Dambulla and Sigirya rock.

The host family is absolutely lovely. Their kindness to me as a solo traveller made the visit to Dambulla even more enjoyable. The room was clean and though not large, had a comfortable double bed, kettle and mosquito net (though I saw none while I was there). Air conditioning unit was new and very efficient. The bathroom seemed new and was a wet room style, with very good shower unit. The breakfast was great and served at whatever time I asked (very early in order to get to Sigurya before the sun got too hot). The hotel is within walking distance of the famous rock temples, near the wall painting museum, a short distance from Sigurya and just over an hour by car to Polonnaruwa. It is an ideal place to use as a centre for those three visits. The lady who runs the hotel speaks good English. She will book bus trips if asked. I was in one of the front rooms which is close to the road, which could be noisy at times. I believe the back rooms are quieter. However, I found I was not disturbed greatly and slept well.

シギリヤ ロックに行くのに便利で安いゲストハウスです。金額どおりの設備ですが、清潔でスタッフも親切で快適に過ごせると思います。通りから歩いていけばシギリヤ ロック行きのバスターミナルに行けますし、トゥクトゥクひろってチャーターすれば周りのスポット込みで回れます。

Nice place, and lovely people. Clean room, nice size. Close to the road.

Er zijn verschillende kamers. Twee rustig gelegen achter het huis en drie aan de voorzijde met nogal wat herrie van de hoofdweg. De kamer waar ik in verbleef was niet groot, wel helemaal schoon, met uitstekend bed, waterkoker en goed sanitair. Het gastgezin zijn aardige en zeer behulpzame mensen. Het ontbijt is geweldig. Op loopafstand van de beroemde rotstempels, vlakbij het wall painting museum. Mooie natuurwandeling mogelijk naar verschillende meren in de omgeving.

女性にもお薦め。ダンブッラの黄金寺院まで歩いて数分。周辺に宿があつまっているので、目の前にトゥクトゥクがいるし、小さな商店があります。
とても優しいご家族で滞在が愉しかったです。水シャワーですが暑いので大丈夫。
安いし、本当に親切なご家族でした。また行きたい。So nice! Thank you so much!
