The decorating was awesome

Cons:

no coffee maker in the room, Steps are very steep. Seems like a journey just to go downstairs to bring coffee back to room. Was on the third floor.

Pros:

Silverton a été choisi en dernière minute suite à un changement dans notre itinéraire.
Il n'y avait que 2 hotels de disponibles, nous avons choisi le grand impérial car la chambre était plus grande.
L'établissement est correct mais ce n'est pas le genre de déco que nous privilégions habituellement. Mais il était précisé qu'il respectait le charme de l'ancien, donc l'essentiel est que nous y ayons bien dormi.
Pas de petit déjeuner, uniquement quelques boissons chaudes, mais une bakery attenante sympathique permet de choisir entre quelques viennoiseries.

Cons:

Je ne sais pas si le restaurant fait partie de l'hotel (il se trouve dans la même bâtisse) mais nous avons été un peu déçus, non pas par la qualité de ce que nous avions mangé mais par le fait suivant : Nous avions commandé du saumon et avons été servis avec un filet de boeuf. Ce n'est pas une question de langue car notre fils est parfaitement bilingue. Le serveur nous a proposé de refaire les plats, mais nous lui avons dit que ce n'était pas si grave et que cela éviterait de la perte. Mais au moment de la facture, nous avons été facturés du boeuf alors que le saumon était moins cher. J'aurais trouvé très commerçant de nous facturer ce que nous avions commandé car en faisant refaire les plats, ils perdaient le boeuf et auraient de toute façon étés payés du saumon. C'était gagnant-gagnant. Mais apparemment, le responsable ne l'entendait pas ainsi. Ce n'est qu'un détail car finalement nous avons payé ce que nous avons mangé, mais je tenais quand même à le signaler car nous sommes sortis un peu frustrés.

Loved the historic feeling of the building.

Cons:

Bed was not comfortable. Room was hot. They might want to hire a bell hop to help older people get luggage up three flights of stairs. Room super small for the price.

We would stay here again.
Pros:

Centrally located in Silverton. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water with good volume.

The two-bedroom suite was perfect for our needs.

Cons:

Our suite was directly over a saloon and restaurant that did not close until 10:00. We retired to bed at 8:00 because of a very early departure the next morning. The noise from the saloon/restaurant kept us awake until its closure at 10:00p.

If you plan an early bedtime, be sure to ask for a quieter location.
