Lovely pool and staff but in light of pathway better options I’m sure
Pros:

The pool area is amazing, as are the staff they are very kind and considerate. It’s in a good location on the island about 10 minutes from the harbour area by foot.

Cons:

I had 4 cockroaches in my room over the course of several days so I had to switch rooms. The rooms are quite dated, which I don’t think is great given it isn’t a super budget property.

The biggest issue though is the pathway from the main pavement which is a muddy mess during rainy season with sometimes ankle high water that no doubt is contaminated as farm animals are nearby. It rained a lot during our stay and there was no alternative route to the property so we had to traipse through that every day. Rainfall is obviously not the fault of the property and I’m aware it is rainy season but when I suggested they might look to do something about this to improve the comfort of their guests they said ‘complain to booking.com’ 😐

Myself and one other of our group got sick which I cant help but wonder is related to having to walk through contaminated water every day. At the end of our stay I couldn’t do it anymore so hired a bike from the property.

Lovely staff, mediocre accommodation
Pros:

Spacious room and attentive staff.

Cons:

Room was not clean especially the floor and toilet and washable basin were not cleaned throughout my 10 night stay. The shower room roof was partially attracting lots of bugs. The alleyway up the property was frequently flooded requiring us to walk ankle deep in dirty muddy water .

Das Personal hat den Aufenthalt einzigartig gemacht. Ich hoffe die Jungs bekommen vielleicht mal eine kleine Prämie vom
Pros:

Vor allem das Personal. Die Jungs sind so nett und zuvorkommend. Ich hatte eine so tolle Zeit dort.
Ansonsten sind die Zimmer schön, das halb offene Bad ist toll, das Frühstück ist lecker.

Cons:

Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist bei starkem Regen manchmal etwas schwer passierbar.

Magique !
Pros:

Nous avons passé 3 nuits et 4 jours sur Gili air et je ne peux que recommander l’établissement !
Le personnel est au petit soin, la chambre est propre, grande avec des rangements. Elle dispose d’une belle terrasse où l’on peut déguster le superbe petit déjeuner proposé par l’hôtel.
La piscine est magnifique avec beaucoup de transat.
Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

A lovely stay, thanks to the team at L'Archipel
Pros:

We had a lovely and very enjoyable stay. A really nice touch was having breakfast served on the bungalow terrace each morning, and the staff were absolutely superb.

Good wifi availability :)

Cons:

Just worth noting that the hotel is very close to a mosque, so the calls to prayer were extremely loud, even with earbuds. Overall, a great stay.
