Style and location was excellent
Parking nearby was a nightmare as no onsite parking, it’s a great location so you just have to sit and wait for parking to come available
Lovely surroundings and staff fantastic
Room was dusty on the mirror was boiling hot even though there was a fan. But the downside we were on the 3rd floor but lift wasn't working so had to climb 6 lots of stairs which we werent informed when we asked the lad he said hed been on holiday for a week and it was like that before he went. Breakfast was ok it was loveky presented but all needed cooking a littl3 longer as the sausage was undercooked
Location was great and the food was excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive
No air con in the room and the outside area could do with a tidy up (easy to do). Otherwise excellent
We were given a warm welcome, a complimentary glass of fizz and help with taking luggage to our rooms. The lift appeared to be out of order.
The rooms were extremely warm and did not really support a good nights sleep. The windows were very small in one of the rooms and the fan was too noisy to keep on throughout the night.
On day two of our break, there was no hot water in either room and the bathroom was like a sauna!
We were offered an apology and were given two complimentary bottles of fizz

Very disappointed with the Breakfasts which were poorly cooked. The lift was out of action for the whole time we were there and we were on the 3rd floor. Even as a fit 83 year old this was hard work, would have moved on if it hadn't already been paid for. It felt like a restaurant with rooms, not a hotel with a restaurant.
The location is great and staff are lovley.

The room was on the third floor and very hot, with no lift because the heat had broken the lift motor.

If we are going to continue with these extremely hot summers then Browns definitely need to invest in air conditioning in the rooms .
