Au top!!
Pros:

Emplacement superbe, propre, les repas sont excellents. Le personnel est vraiment top, et prend à cœur le confort et le bien être de ses clients (ils ont vraiment cherché à nous aider suite à une annulation de réservation d’activité de dernière minute). À recommander vivement!!

Pros:

Warm and receptive staff members, especially the front desk. I was hosting a workshop at the hotel. The conference facility was comfortable and well suited. All our teas and meals were arranged for the exact times we requested. Highly recommended hotel both for lodgings and events.

Pros:

Zwischen Otjiwarongo und Outjo liegt ein Ort, der mehr ist als nur eine Unterkunft – es ist ein kleines Paradies: die Big Cats Namibia Farm von Rolf und Rachel.
Ich durfte hier in einem wunderschönen, kleinen Haus wohnen – mit zwei Schlafzimmern, jeweils eigenem Bad, einer voll ausgestatteten Küche mit einem gemütlichen Wohn- und Essbereich und einer Terrasse mit einem Blick, der einfach nur den Atem raubt: unberührte Natur, absolute Ruhe und Weite.
Die Farm ist nachhaltig durchdacht – Strom kommt über Solarpanels, jedes Zimmer ist mit Licht ausgestattet, das bequem per Fernbedienung gesteuert wird. In der Küche steht zudem ein großer Powerbank-Cube, sodass man jederzeit alle Geräte laden kann. Warmwasser wird liebevoll zweimal täglich über einen außenstehenden holzbefeuerten Warmwasserbeuler bereitet– ein Detail, das den Aufenthalt noch besonderer macht.
Was diesen Ort aber wirklich einzigartig macht, ist das Gefühl, komplett aus dem Alltag auszusteigen. Kein Stress, keine Hektik – einfach nur ankommen, durchatmen und genießen.
Die Game Drives sind ein absolutes Highlight: ob zum Sundowner oder nachts – man erlebt die Tierwelt hautnah. Rolf und Rachel teilen ihr Wissen mit so viel Leidenschaft, dass jede Fahrt unvergesslich wird.
Und dann das Essen… einfach outstanding. Frühstück und Abendessen werden direkt auf der Terrasse serviert – mit Blick in die Natur. Ich habe hier köstliches Zebra-Carpaccio und ein Oryx-Steak gegessen – und letzteres war ohne Zweifel das beste Steak, das ich in ganz Namibia gegessen habe. Unglaublich zart, voller Geschmack – ein echtes Erlebnis.
Besonders schön: Man kann mit Rolf und Rachel auch Ausflüge unternehmen. Ich war mit ihnen sowohl in Otjiwarongo als auch im Etosha National Park unterwegs – und es war einfach eine rundum besondere Zeit.
Rolf und Rachel sind nicht nur Gastgeber, sondern Herzensmenschen. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen.
