Its okey, but overpriced
Pros:

It was in the heart of Galle old town, parking is near, but in the street, not their own. It was clean, friendly staff. Rooms size is enough, big shower, cozy.

Cons:

We paid ~300€ for 3 nights and it is overpriced, because the hotel is so small, it feels like renting a room in the house, there is no hot water in the morning, there are no water bottles in the rooms, there is just a 2 bottles with chlorinated water. Breakfast is the same, just making eggs in different ways, same fruits.

Lovely stay at a bed and breakfast in the Galle fort
Pros:

Lovely bed and breakfast accommodation on a quiet, residential street off one of the main streets within the Fort. Lovely greenery in sunny courtyard with comfortable couches to relax in. Room was also comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The coffee was terrible and the lack of tea making items in the room. Given that the fort only starts waking up after 8am, I could not find a single cafe that was open and offered tea.

Fabulous
Pros:

The staff are so attentive, kind, and always up for a chat. Breakfast and facilities were fabulous, made for a fantastic and memorable stay in Galle.

非常满意！
Pros:

在加勒古城的一个巷子里，游览古城非常方便。房间面积很大，打扫的很干净，设施非常完备。房屋隔音不错，又因为是在巷子里，因此很安静，不会觉得吵。房东和工作人员都很和善，离开的时候帮忙叫了突突车去火车站。早餐无论是英式还是斯里兰卡当地口味，都很丰盛。

Everyone was very caring and responsive. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The room decoration is beautiful as well as the bed was very comfortable.

A wonderful couple of days exploring Galle Fort from charming Parawa House.
Pros:

Lovely old house with bundles of charm. Our room was at the front with a long balcony (with fan) to enjoy. The room, bed and bathroom were all generous, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really tasty and the specially made egg hoppers were a perfect end to a very enjoyable stay in Galle Fort. Staff were welcoming and friendly and made every effort to help. The property itself is close to the Fort's sea wall and the centre of the atmospheric old town, so plenty to see and walk around with many restaurants, bars and shops. We will definitely stay at Parawa House next time we visit Galle.

Good location, comfortable rooms

Cons:

Wifi didn't work in the rooms. On arrival the welcome is weak but the request for payment is strong. And when you don't pay immediately you get a letter from 'accounts' saying you need to pay immediately or you'll have to find other accommodation. I could go on but I will end with this. Would we stay here again - no. Would we tell friends and family to stay here - no.

Herzlicher Empfang, aber einige Komfortmängel

Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, der grüne Innenhof sehr schön, und das srilankische Frühstück liebevoll zubereitet – auch wenn die Auswahl am Nachbartisch größer wirkte.

Cons:

Weniger angenehm war die Klimaanlage, die sich nicht regulieren ließ. Wir haben sie mehrmals nachts an und ausgeschaltet. Mit nur einem dünnen Laken war es dann entweder zu kalt oder zu warm, was zu unruhigem Schlaf führte. Die Matratze war mit einem rutschigen Bezug versehen, dessen Haltegummi dazu gerissen war – hier wäre nur einekleine Reparaturen nötig gewesen, was dem Personal sicher aufgefallen ist

Im Bad fiel uns schwarzer Schimmel auf, es gibt keine Lüftung: Die Fenster sind undurchsichtig und vertikal drehbar – entweder man öffnet sie und blickt direkt auf frühstückende Gäste (die auch hereinschauen können), oder man hat gar keinen Ausblick. Zusätzlich gab es Mücken im Bad. In der Nacht hatte mein Mann eine Kakerlake auf dem Arm – bei einem älteren Gebäude erklärbar, aber dennoch unangenehm.

Für 90 $ pro Nacht ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis grundsätzlich okay, wenn man einfache Standards erwartet. Mit etwas mehr Sorgfalt bei Instandhaltung und Hygiene ließe sich der Aufenthalt deutlich verbessern.

Overall lovely with a very nice breakfast and lovely staff.
Pros:

We liked the garden. The location. It was lovely and clean. Well maintained. A very good shower.

Cons:

The room was too small for two people. The furniture took up space and wasn’t functional which meant there was nowhere to place two sets of luggage making the space even smaller.

Broken toilet. Both seat and toilet were broken. I thought I would fall sitting on the toilet. Room near the breakfast/sitting area/lobby. Too much noise.

Tolle Lage und super Gastgeber.

Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Super Lage. Zentral aber trotzdem ruhig.
