the stay was absolutely amazing would definitely recommend. the staff goes above & beyond for guest. traveling was super easy, having the train station literally right at the corner, which was a plus being our first time in Paris. so many places to walk & eat. my girlfriends phone fell underneath the bed & gas to be manually taken apart to get to it; the staff was on top of this issue & retrieved it for us.
Rooms are too small. We were there for 8 days. Sink was clogged we complained but they didnt fix it. Eventually we told them to chage our room that also took 24 hours.
Right beside train station which bills very handy to go into tourist areas of Paris.
We have been trying to contact the property since the first day, but they have neither responded to our messages nor taken them seriously. My problem is that the airline canceled our flight at the last minute, so we couldn’t travel to the country. For this reason, I’m requesting the cancellation of my reservation. However, I haven’t received any response from either the property or Expedia Today is a 6th day’s
Staff went above and beyond. I was in Paris with my husband and another couple. The 4 of us were impressed with the hospitality of the staff. Definitely recommend this hotel.
As expected, close to train stations and metro. Enjoyed being able to have breakfast on site to start our day. Wish we had easier access to coffee or tea at any time.
Very cool place to stay. Staff was amazing, room was a little small but really cool. I liked and enjoyed it. I'll definitely stay there next time I'm in Paris again. I had a lot of fun there.
Perfect for an early train from Gare de Lyon and hiring bikes to see Paris.
Room very small and walls on three sides of the bed so the two of us slept sideways.
Clean and bright but less on tech and more on basics (eg glasses) would be an improvement.

Long weekend in Paris for teenage son birthday. Room spacious& clean looking.
Unfortunately the room was freezing at night. Called down to reception at 00:40hrs on first night due to cold, she offered to move rooms or give extra blanket. 2 phone calls & 20mins later we got an extra duvet. Still freezing. Had to sleep back to back with 2 duvets all 3 nights. Temperature was adjusted on iPad & made zero difference for 3 nights. What’s the point in having a spacious modern room but it’s freezing? And we are from Scotland! Shower was lukewarm first morning but fine rest of the time. Water pressure not great. All else fine.
I really enjoyed my stay at citizenM Paris Gare de Lyon. The hotel is stylish, modern, and comfortable – exactly what I wanted. While the rooms are compact, they’re cleverly designed and more than enough for a city break. It was also very quiet, and I slept well throughout my stay.
The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, which made a big difference. The common areas are chic yet comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. I also had an oat milk latte in the restaurant that was excellent.
The shower was warm with great water pressure, and the toiletries provided were high quality – much better than what you usually get in hotels at this price point. Overall, it’s basic but done very well, and offers great value for money. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

Excellent hotel, great staff and oerfect location for gare de lyon.
This is the third time I am a guest in this property. The previous times I was happy to give it a good review. The rooms are tiny but the beds are really good as well as the shower and it is very conveniently located.
However this time we had a bad experience. We booked the room for 2 nights.
We were exhausted when we arrived from a train ride, the room was freezing but I did turned the heater on thinking that the room was going to warm up during the night. Well it did not, so I cannot tell you the pleasure of showering in a cold room in the morning. We did let know the front desk they came and witnessed the freezing air coming into the room through the fan instead of warm heat , and they said that they could fix that from their computer .At night when we came back no heater again . They offered an extra blanket or to change room . We were too tired to drag our bags so we took the blanket and spend another night and morning in cold .
We end up spending 2 nights in the cold after spending close to $1000 for the 2 nights . What was the most infuriating thing was that in the morning the guy at the front desk said he couldn’t allow more than 15 minutes past the 11 am checkout time . After all of that ! When I told him that after spending 2 nights in the cold he could allow a bit more time he said he would let the manager know about the heater , like they did not know .No word from management yet.
The entire thing was so miss managed. Proper heating is basic for a hotel .

Small rooms
Room layout is excellent for such a small footprint. Dining/ bar area is efficient. Electronic controls are excellent. Outsourced laundry is total crap; the link doesn’t work.
