Lovely room, had everything we needed, was in a great location.
Room was got quite hot, they did provide a fan tho which helped. The duvets were just a bit to heavy/thick for the weather we have atm.
Was a good location
Getting to the room was quite unsafe. Stairs are really steep and narrow. And carrying luggage up was very scary.
Very good location near to everything in centre and RSC. Nice eating are outside and room nice.
Nothing.
Great location for the centre of Stratford - everything was a short walk away. We also managed to park in a nearby carpark just a 2 minute walk from the pub/hotel which was an added bonus. The room was clean, tea/coffee/biscuits and it was quiet at night once the pub had shut. Pub was nice inside and very pretty from the outside with all the flowers.
Didn't eat there but the food smelt amazing.
However, it was very hot (as the weather has been everywhere recently) but there is no air-con, just one desk fan to plug in.
The main gripe was that when we arrived to check in, we waited in the little alcove as the signs instructed, for about 10 minutes of staff and bar staff walking past and ignoring us, despite us ringing the bell and being very obviously waiting to check in. Whilst the bar was busy, it was the feeling of being purposefully ignored that was not pleasant. We only got attended to after a member of staff came to the bar with a tray of clean glasses to put away and said he would sort out getting someone to deal with us.
Great location, friendly staff and great breakfast.
Food was good staff good
Toilets absolutely stank weren’t cleaned worse then public toilets
tables left with food an empty glasses on while sat there whole place needs a good clean
Location to experience Stratford was fine, but our 'VIP' room, was very noisy, direct sunlight, on the streetside so noisy, etc very inaccessible room, up some dirty stairs. Just not any focus on the accommodation experience, to be honest.
Very dirty in general, like no love or care for the place. Entrance to both room areas did not look like it had been cleaned in months.
Location, decor and dogs are accepted
The staff were unhelpful, the room was unclean especially the bathroom. There was no air conditioning or air flow. The room was so hot we could barely breathe. At 6am the bins were emptied right outside the window
Visited 4 years ago and the new refurb has made almost unrecognisable. Breakfast, location and food at night are all top class . Will definitely be going back .
Nothing negative to say
The proximity to the town. Nice food, lovely, helpfull and very friendly staff. Value for money. Comfortable bed.
Noise from the traffic, and delivery. But hay ho we were staying in a pub on the main street. Room was very warm, but we had fans and were offered more😃
all the facilities were very good, the only criticism is the the rooms were very hot due to the exceptional weather we have been having.
The staff were excellent, and i will definitely visit the pen and parchment again.
everything was fine no problem
Friendly and accommodating staff- very central to everything.
Stairs- my father is 77 , but it is an old building!
Good location, staff on the Saturday during the day were great
Room smelt strongly of dog. Staff member very full on during check in, friendly is good but this was to much for me personally.
