The exceptional staff made this experience pleasant. It really exceeded my expectations for such a remote location.
The price I paid was outrageous, it was a $100 tops, I paid $185 on a night the hotel was empty.
Lisa was a wonderful host this week during my stay at the Lakeside Inn. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the area. My room was renovated and had all the essentials after a long day of work. I had a wonderful home cooked meal at the restaurant and really enjoyed seeing the friendly cats outside and great conversations on the patio! 5 stars for Lisa and her team, they make the motel a home away from home!
Clean simple accommodations, well-furnished. The fan on the Heater/AC unit is quite noisy when running but you have full control over the unit
Absolutely loved staying here with my kids and toddler. Great staff, great restaurant, great rooms and amenities. We've already booked a follow up visit for next year!
My friend and I were staying in Cloyne so we could go kayaking in the area. The Inn may look a little dated but the rooms are very clean and appear to be updated.
The hotel was very quiet and the beds very comfortable.

Didn’t like that the restaurant only opened at 9 and they don’t freshen up the rooms everyday and we had to ask for new towels but otherwise rooms were good

This is very close to Bon Echo Provincial Park and that is why I chose it. I stayed one night so I could get an early start in the park.
There is a gas station and convivence store opposite the property. Parking lot does need to be repaved, that is an upgrade the property should undertake.
It is a rural area so keep that in mind. It has a coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Their restaurant is only open on certain days, and that is true of the entire area. I brought my own food and made it in the room. Otherwise I would have had to travel far for food that was available. So just keep that in mind when planning.
It was a good nights sleep.
