Best Choice for Visiting Beverly Hills Area
Pros:

This was my second visit and I still can’t say enough good things about this place. Westwood is no longer a place that has any reason to visit. However, its proximity to Beverly Hills and Century City make it a great choice. Service, security and accommodations are outstanding.

Pros:

Location close to ICLA; and terrific staff — from Hina and Philippe at the front desk, to the maintenance gentleman who is right at your room, day and evening, in 2 minutes if you need a light bulb changed, or help operating an appliance or TV.

Plaza La Reina - great Westwood location - huge, comfortable suites
Pros:

Stayed for nearly 3 weeks in June / July.
Plaza La Reina is in an excellent location in Westwood, making it easy to explore the area while still feeling like a peaceful retreat after a busy day out in LA. Good security. Plenty of good restaurants, supermarkets, cafes and bars nearby. Perfect for UCLA and Ronald Reagan Medical Centre. You must visit the wonderful Hamer Museum of Art across the road and the cool restaurant there.

Our suite was huge (honestly, it was bigger than many apartments), scrupulously clean and very well equipped with an excellent washer and dryer, a good kitchenette (but no toaster) and plenty of storage — all particularly useful for a longer 3 week stay. Good ducted A/C (took a few days to figure out its idiosyncrasies, but all good eventually). In fact, the suite was better than we expected and much larger than the pictures on line suggest.
There’s multi-level parking below the hotel but we didn’t use it so can’t comment on functionality.

The rooftop garden terrace is fabulous, with huge olive and cumquat trees and plenty of comfy seating. We took wine and take-away dinners up there and enjoyed the sunset views. There’s also a large ground level courtyard with a gorgeous collection of potted plants. There is a real sense of character throughout the property, with the Spanish Mission style carried through very consistently. Not to everyone’s taste, but we found it all charming.

The "gym" is just a treadmill on the roof, and there isn't a pool. You can visit a gym nearby and a couple of places for Reformer Pilates, so it wasn't a big deal for us.

Staff members Hina, Eyrie and Vivienne (apologies for missing out one other lovely lady whose name has escaped me) were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, always happy to assist and genuinely interested in making sure everything was right. Philippe, the owner, has created a property where that personal level of service is clearly part of the philosophy.

We had an issue with sink drainage in the bathroom. Mentioned it to Reception and it was fixed within hours.

The only minor downside was that our particular suite was a little dark, although that was due to our novice choice of room. The bed wasn’t a king size, so I would book another category next time.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You can’t beat the location and would happily return but book a different suite with a more open outlook.

We've previously stayed at The W nearby , but Plaza La Reina will be our new go-to for future visits.

Recommended.

Overall, great little kitchenette and enjoyed the suite. The furniture could be a bit better as the sofa cushions were
Pros:

Location and quietness. Love the hardwood floors and the bathroom tile.

Cons:

The pillows were too soft. There was an old smell to the room not sure if it was because of the furniture.

Hidden Gem in Great Location
Pros:

Plaza La Reina is a gem! I lived in Los Angeles for years and my friends and I had not heard of it. I was very happy to find it on TripAdvisor.

It’s perfectly located in Westwood. I was in LA to visit clients in Brentwood and DTLA. My daughter joined me to visit friends. She was able to walk or take a short Uber ride to meet up with them.

Walking into the lobby reminded me of entering a boutique hotel in Rome. The rooms are perfectly appointed with high quality construction, full kitchen complete with dishwasher, nice sitting area and bathroom. Very comfy King bed.

Our only issue was parking at check in as the meters and loading only spaces were occupied. The hotel’s garage is convenient although the spaces are small. It was warm during our stay and the AC was a bit complicated to figure out.

I usually stay with friends when in LA but definitely will stay here again!

Pros:

Cons:

Уборка посредственнная, всегда оставался какой то запах. Кондиционер шумит сильно. Иногда не добавляли шампунь. Напор в душе очень слабый, девочкам с длинными густым волосами приходится сложно.
