Het beste en oudste hotel in de regio.
Pros:

Personeel,kamer,aandacht. Dus in een zin een aanrader als je een nacht of meerdere nachten in Dokkum moet zijn.

Cons:

Het is NIET de schuld van het hotel. Maar parkeerplaatsen is een ellende. Je moet echt weten waar je kan parkeren.

Prima maar wat duurder dan ik redelijk vond.

Kwaliteit bed en ontbijt

Cons:

Frituurlucht bij binnenkomst bij de receptie, ruim na het avondeten, was niet prettig. Ik vraag me dan altijd af of de afzuiging het wel doet en wat dat zegt over de kwaliteit van de keuken. En op beide hotelkamers die we hadden gehuurd was geen föhn, dat had ik gezien de prijs van de kamer wel verwacht. Op 1 van de 2 kamers was de ruimte tussen toilet en muur zo klein dat een wat langer persoon daar niet normaal kan zitten. Op de andere kamer was het rare wirwar van verlengsnoeren.
De kamers waren ongeveer net zo duur als soms een Van der Valk hotel maar daar is de kwaliteit hoger.

Pros:

het is een geweldig mooi stadje

Cons:

de fietsstalling was veel te klein vooral omdat er ook motoren gestald waren.
Er was geen plaats voorzien om de koffers uit te laden en de parking was een stuk verder.
