The setting, the history, tastefully decorated rooms ( not too modern or garish), very peaceful.
Nothing!
Location and setting is perfect , food was very good , room lovely
Disappointing issue with a bottle of champagne sent to our room by our son as a gift , he was asked if he wanted fla card with a message which he gave but which wasn’t with it . When the receptionist showed us to our room she welcomed us and said congratulations on our anniversary and pointed us to the champagne and said we like to celebrate our guests special occasions , we took this that the fizz was complimentary , which was a lovely gesture , this has obviously left us feeling very embarrassed as we didn’t thank our son and have no idea why we would have been lead to believe the hotel was giving us champagne . Its spoilt what was otherwise a lovely stay and obviously our son is disappointed we didn’t thank him for his generous gift
Beautifully decorated with an awesome garden and classic dining hall. Love everything in the building and room. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast is made to order plus buffet. Free parking on site.
Nothing. Everything is perfect. There is no elevator but staff will help you with the luggage so no problem at all.
The staff was excellent as well as the property itself
Not the property itself, but did not know that there are no restaurants or pubs within walking distance of the property.
No fridge in the room
Food was excellent quality and good choices.
