This place was unprofessional. A few days before I arrived I was emailed to say my booking was no longer available for the 5 days that I booked and they gave me the only option to move my stay to a different property on the opposite end of the island for half my stay. This was a huge inconvenience and not what I had booked for. The way the accommodation is presented in the photos does not live up to the real life experience. It seems run down and tired and the food was terrible.
I made this booking through Booking.com and this was a huge mistake. Booking.com did nothing useful to assist me to find a resolution.

Room are very well furnished and it has nice looking at the ocean.
The staff met us at the facility door giving us a warm welcome we felt we are home away from home.

The view was wonderful. They had a small room that was used for massages and yoga which was lovely and the breakfasts were good - it was nice to be able to sit outside and dine.
The staff tried to be helpful but was always a step behind. This did not feel like a 5-star hotel on the service front. Also, the bathroom was super small and quite dark. The only mirror was above the single sink in-between two walls at the end of the narrow bathroom - no counter space and the floor beneath the sink kept flooding. Several things in our room didn't work and by the time any of it was fixed, we were leaving.

Singular's White property is absolutely beautiful, including the views and pool, and our guest room was unique and quiet, and had a very very comfortable bed (and we also got the room with the big tub - which was special!). The staff is truly excellent; they accomodated us on any special requests and provided great recommendations. The food was tremendous, both at the White property and its sister SB resort (compliments to the chef!), as were the friendly and hard-working servers (particularly at White, where we stayed). The location of White is convenient to many attractions via short car rides, so we recommend renting your own car (which we did and loved the experience and freedom) or otherwise coming prepared to pay for all of your rides around the island (i would note that there were a couple of beaches close to White which may have been walkable, but we did not visit them ourselves since beaches were not on our agenda - however, if you prefer a beach on location, you could check out the sister SB resort).
The only ding I can think of is that there were a few dead insects found in our room throughout the stay; this was not an issue for us personally - since they were dead and we understand the reality of them being from SC, USA - but it is possible that a particularly demanding guest might whine about it.
