Great
Pros:

The location is absolutely unbeatable. We could walk to Universal Studios in just a few minutes, and the train station is basically right next to the hotel. That made everything incredibly easy with kids — especially early mornings and tired evenings.

The rooms felt surprisingly spacious for Japan, and everything was clean and well-organized. Compared to other Japanese city hotels, this felt like we actually had space to move around as a family.

One of the biggest highlights for us was the Sky Spa (onsen) on the top floor. After a long day at Universal Studios, being able to relax in a hot bath with a view over the city was honestly amazing.

The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient — something we really appreciated after long travel days.

Breakfast was also a big plus, with both Japanese and Western options, which made it easier to satisfy both adults and kids.

From a Danish perspective, this felt like very strong value for money, especially considering the location and facilities.

Cons:

The biggest issue for us was that the hotel is not truly designed for families of four, even if it technically allows it.

The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable according to multiple reviews — and we agree
Space can still feel tight once beds are unfolded

We also noticed some inconsistency in cleanliness, especially in less visible areas (like laundry or shared facilities), which stood out to us coming from Denmark where standards are high.

The breakfast area can get crowded, and you may have to queue during peak times — not ideal with children.

Also worth noting:

Rooms don’t always match the photos
Some beds are quite firm (which not everyone will like)

And while the spa is amazing, it’s a traditional Japanese onsen (no swimsuits) — which can be a barrier for some families.

Pros:

Tolle Räumlichkeiten, alles sauber, geräumig, sehr ruhig und tolle Lage zu den Universal Studios. Tolles Spa was wir leider nicht alle besuchen durften aufgrund vorhandener Tattoos. Aber das ist in Japan nun mal so. Für uns nicht schlimm.
Auch die Aussicht vom Zimmer war toll 😊
