Loved the vibe! Staff were super welcoming The pub down stairs was great! Bed was so comfy and room was super clean.

It was a little confusing finding were to check in, but once we got to the pub staff made it easy

Comfortable and convenient; bonus points for friendly, welcoming staff!
Pros:

Gunyah is well located and easy to find. Our room was comfortable and even though it faced on to the highway, it wasn't noisy and we got a good night's sleep. We didn't partake of breakfast; had a cafe brunch half way back to our home in the Blue Mountains. Maybe next time!

Cons:

We actually missed not having bedside lights, so it was phone torchlight for a bit of pre-sleep reading.

Awesome location, great staff and beds very comfy. Nearby shops easy to access and nice and close
Pros:

Location is amazing, overlooking the boat ramp to Lake Macquarie, accommodation easily accessible (does have stairs though) staff lovely and helpful, great shops nearby (favourites are the op shops and friendly local tattoo parlour)

Cons:

Shower head is questionable, it does the job and lovely hot water but had to fiddle with the attachment to get a decent angle and stream

Would have been just right if shower was clean
Pros:

Nice sunset across the road.
Helpful staff.
Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Shower hasn’t been cleaned in months. Wouldn’t take much to clean it, lower tiles all brown , I Cld rub it off with my finger so wasn’t stained, wore thongs in shower.
No air, no window to open, no fans, so aircon or nothing.
