Would have been just right if shower was clean
Pros:

Nice sunset across the road.
Helpful staff.
Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Shower hasn’t been cleaned in months. Wouldn’t take much to clean it, lower tiles all brown , I Cld rub it off with my finger so wasn’t stained, wore thongs in shower.
No air, no window to open, no fans, so aircon or nothing.

Upon arrival at the approved time, I was given a card to access the room allocated to me by Bar Staff..!!..When I attempted to open the Room3 door upstairs the card would not open it. I contacted Bar Staff who said that room door was faulty and I could not stay there as all other rooms were fully booked. I was not offered any help to find another motel to stay for the night. I have since received a full refund from Booking.Com.

Nice, convenient and a bit noisy on the weekends motel
Pros:

Close and convenient location to the shops, ocean, Lake Macquarie and sport venues

Cons:

Gets a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday with the live music at the pub downstairs and with the dance music at the function room at the upper floor. However the 11:00pm curfew is observed

GREAT VALUE, IN A GREAT LOCATION FOR AN OVERNIGHT TRIP. FOOD IN RESTAURANT WAS LOVELY.

A good place to stay if you're in town
Pros:

the Venue itself was amazing, great vibes and good food, and a super comfy bed

the room had quite a bit of black mould on the roof and walls

Pros:

Location was suitable for us and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The fact that the room was directly above the bar where there was a live band and other loud music until at least midnight. Bathroom was in poor condition and not clean.
