dieses historische geschichtsträchtige gotische hotel ist herausragend mit einer top lage mitten in der altstadt.
herr weigmann war immer ein zuvorkommender gastgeber und er hat sich stets um all unsere belange gekümmert.

Schönes Hotel in Görlitz in einem historischen Gebäude, sehr gut gelegen. Das Zimmer war groß und hübsch eingerichtet. Schönes Badezimmer, alles sehr sauber
Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer.

Sehr schöner Aufenhalt im Herzen von Görlitz
Pros:

Ein sehr schönes Altstadthotel mit Geschichte.
Sehr schöne große Zimmer und alles sehr sauber.
Man wird vom Hotelbesitzer Herr Weigmann sehr freundlich empfangen und umsorgt.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts zu meckern.

Pros:

Der Frenzelhof hat eine hervorragende Lage direkt am Untermarkt in der Altstadt. Das gotische Hallenhaus mit der kleinen, historischen Privatkapelle, in dem sich das Hotel befindet, ist beeindruckend. Die Zimmer sind groß, schön und komfortabel.
Doch das eigentlich Wunderbare ist die herzliche Gastlichkeit des Hoteliers.
Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und komme bestimmt wieder.

Herr Weigmann did everything to make our stay a pleasant one. The hotel is historic and characterful. There was a good spread at breakfast even though we were the only guests. Yes, pretty quiet out of season. Plenty of places to eat, though, and great to saunter over to Poland or take the short drive to Czech.

Cons:

Hotel and Görlitz generally better visited in the holiday season perhaps.

Pros:

Interesting and a time capsule from the 16th century. Excellent breakfast and very caring host.

Cons:

Some stairs, but that was the norm in 1578

When visiting beautiful Görlitz, the family run Hotel Frenzelhof with its large authentic rooms your
Pros:

The warm and personal touch by the owner was amazing. I felt welcomed and immediately at home. The breakfast was great, everything organic and wherever possible sourced locally.
Görlitz is a beautiful Gothic city which miraculously hadn't been destroyed in WWII. Buildings 800 years old are meticulously renovated and restored.
In summary: Görlitz is a must if you want to see gorgeous, preserved original cities in Germany. And I can't imagine a better place to stay than the beautiful Frenzelhof right downtown.
