excellent location to wushan and market
Pros:

Great location, mountain at your door step, great for morning walk, the place is calm and away from all the crowd and the hassle buzzer, the hotel only prepare food with fresh ingredients and must order in advance, they only purchase enough ingredients for the day , the staff service are 5 star, extremely helpful and freindly. the local day and night time(around 6pm) wushan market place are just 5 min walk, the market is a great place to try out all local foods, many restaurants, food courts, and local souvenir stores at the market, foods price are very affordable in the food court and you can try out all local favorites and delicacy here, dine and shop around the market area rather than the west lake, price at tourist area are a bit cutthroat, the hotel is only 20min walk to west lake.

Good Place to stay but pricey
Pros:

The Hotel is up on the hill around 10mins walk uphill from the ground level. Besides the uphill slope, the location is good and easily accessible by taxi. Must call taxi to come into the area as its not possible to flag for one. We are happy that the hotel receptionists provide great service and they are very willing to help us to ensure that we can get a cab. Further uphill is an attraction area of temples and a park. Downhill to the ground level is the popular tourist shopping attraction "Hefang Street". Alot of people will go to Hefang Street to buy local food products, souvenirs, and many other interesting items. There are many restaurants in that area too. Room is nice and clean.

Great location, room, and staff
Pros:

Staff don't speak English but translation app worked fine. Chinese breakfast very good, afternoon fruit tray, beautiful relaxing atmosphere. Paths outside the door meander around the hill and up to a famous pavillion with a great view. Down the road is walking market to the right, West Lake to the left. If I go back to Hangzhou I will stay there again, especially if with a loved one to share the romantic, relaxing atmosphere.
