Wonderful stay in heart of Barcelona
Pros:

Located in the heart of Barcelona, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Amazing bathroom as well. Service from staff is great, we had an early check-in. Breakfast a la carte is also excellent. Definitely going back.

the concierge staffs. They just don’t communicate or leave some notes for other ones in different shifts. I asked if we could leave the luggage overnight for one night since we are staying at hotel barcelona for 3 nights then away for one night in another town then return to stay again for another night via booking.com message way ahead of time. We received an answer that they could store our luggage for one night for us since we planned to return and stay with them again the next day. We also double check about such upon check in with the concierge !!! However, at check out on Tue 2Jun, the lady and guy concierge told us that we could not leave the luggage overnight with bad looks on their faces. Luckily, I had proof of the conversation. I was so dissatisfied that i didn’t catch their names. The guy concierge’s english (on duty that time) was not good at all and this same guy came and knocked on my door with “no disturb sign” just to give a flyer too. He should just slip it under the door.

Pros:

Heel goede ligging vlakbij het oude gedeelte en de ramblas. Mooie, verzorgde en hygienise kamer. Vriendelijk personeel, er is zelfs security in de lobby. Zwembadje op het dak is ook tof.

An excellent location and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Barcelona.
Pros:

The location was excellent and the rooms were a reasonable size. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The breakfast was a bit basic - felt by the staff that they were always in a hurry to take our cooked breakfast orders. The cooked breakfast was ok, nothing special to be honest. Portions were tiny and having it served on a small side plate wasn't very nice. Very little choice of the non-cooked self served items. I liked the assortment of pastries and orange juice that were placed on our tables as soon as we arrived though. We were in rooms 206 and 207 and it was quite noisy at times throughout the night as the large dustbins were below our windows and we could hear them being emptied regularly.

Extremely nice - we want to come back 💙
Pros:

The hotel is located more or less next to the beautiful Barcelona Catedral in the Gothic area. Very nice room with very good noise insulation. The staff makes you feel at home and they are very nice and helpful with everything. The pool is great after a full day walking - and in the morning you are looking forward to the good breakfast.

Cons:

The bed was a bit hard - and staff did their best with an extra madras.
