There were a number of things wrong in the room
Some light bulbs are not working
Bedside lights not connected
The water inlet for the bath was broken, and we had to use the handshower to fill the bath
Staff language when reporting the bath issue
Some amenities in the bathrooms were missing

We have spent two wonderful nights at the Hoeveled House. It is a beautiful property with a huge garden and pool. The rooms are spacious beautifully decorated! We booked it with the breakfast which was 10/10. All the people were very friendly and forthcoming. On the day of departure we were granted a late check-out which we highly appreciate! We will definitely be back and can fully recommend to stay here!

Very nice hotel/guest house with a huge garden and pool. They didn’t have many rooms, so everything was calm and tranquil. We loved the style of the hotel and the garden especially. You hear the birds sing and can just enjoy and relax.
The location is approximately 10 min by Uber from Sandton mall/Nelson Mandela square and Rosebank. You will get an Uber in minutes, very easy.
Breakfast menu was not big, but good. And if you have special request they will try to help you. We didn’t.
We stayed in a room next to the pool. The room was big and had everything we needed. But it would have been nice with two chairs and a coffee table on the terrace outside the room. We would also like to have a trash can in the room. There is only a small one in the toilet. The water pressure in the shower was also not very good, but not a big problem.
My husband had birthday while we were there. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine, which they didn’t charge us for. The day we left we checked out in the morning, but the hotel let us shower in an available room in the evening before we left for our late flight home. We appreciated the extra service a lot and were very pleased with our stay.
The staff was generally very lovely. Especially the guards at the entrance.

Didn’t dislike anything, but chairs and table outside the room, trash can in the room and better water pressure would improve the impression.
The accommodation was relaxing, clean, well managed. The size of the rooms was great.
Only improvement could have been a little better designed wardrobe storage and the room safe could have been a little higher. As you get older it is a little difficult to use a low lying safe.

The view of the pool, and the gardens were beautiful. Shower was good too.
Room was ever so slightly dated/ could do with a refresh. I thought it looked a bit better in pictures than reality. Check in was also a bit strange, the guard didn't have my details.
