I dropped my earring down the sink early one morning, Aaron was able to help me retrieve before the work day even began! Very nice hotel, quiet and relaxing. Will be back.
The rooftop bar is great 👍
Roid top bar too small bit enough seating
Location
I recently stayed at Le Méridien Denver Downtown and unfortunately my experience was disappointing.
I had a breakfast voucher, but the reception staff did not allow me to use it at the other restaurant in the hotel and insisted it could only be used at the AC Restaurant. The breakfast there was quite unsatisfactory. On two consecutive days they ran out of Nespresso capsules and even Greek yogurt, which was surprising for a hotel of this level. The breakfast menu was also very limited.
Additionally, the sleeping experience was not comfortable. The pillows and blanket were uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
Overall, the service and amenities did not meet expectations for this category of hotel. Personally, I would not choose to stay here again.
So convenient! Just cross the street to Denver Convention Center. Quite a few of nice restaurants (including the hotel's own two) and grocery stores are located in two blocks. The room is clean, large with complementary 2 bottles of water everyday. When the sink was clogged, Aaron came in no time to fix it quickly and gave me reward points for the inconvenience thus caused. It's a nice hotel and a nice staff I enjoyed very much.
Aaron was exceptional! He was polite, courteous, and quick! We truly appreciate his professionalism!
Aaron in Maintenance Fixed an issue with toilet and was awesome! Hotel was clean and ready for whatever we needed
We pulled up to the valet with 7 bags (4 of which weighed 50 lbs each) and received absolutely no help. After my husband got the cart from inside, I watched him struggle to open the door to the hotel while trying to push the cart through as our bags fell over with still absolutely no help.
I waited behind six other people before I was able to check in, only one person working at the desk. This was at 3:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday.
We were told sorry we would’ve upgraded you, but we didn’t- which seemed unnecessary. We would have just accepted the room we were given and didn’t need the insult.
Someone has to get the room right next to the elevator, and this time it was us. We can barely fit in our room with all of our bags.
At any other Marriott we are treated very differently.
Disappointed and would not recommend
Le Méridien Denver Downtown is very well located, right in the heart of downtown, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Service throughout the hotel was very good — professional, friendly, and attentive.
The rooms are relatively small, but well designed, modern, and comfortable. Everything felt clean and thoughtfully arranged, so the room size did not negatively impact the overall stay.
One clear downside is parking. It is difficult to find, not well organized, and extremely expensive, which is disappointing for a hotel in this category.
The food at the hotel is very good, both in quality and presentation. A real highlight, however, is the rooftop bar — fantastic atmosphere, great views, and absolutely a must-visit when staying at the hotel.
Overall, a stylish hotel with strong service and an outstanding rooftop bar, slightly let down by the parking situation.
Me encantó
Nada
I am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I base my hotel reviews on both the brand’s standards and my personal experiences.
I stayed one night at Le Méridien Denver Downtown. While I don’t believe this property offers suites, I was given a very nice room that met my expectations for the brand. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and suitable for a short business stay.
I was recognized as a Titanium Elite member at check-in and received a breakfast credit as part of my benefits. Breakfast was served in the hotel’s restaurant and was ordered from the menu rather than a buffet. The quality of the food was excellent, and I was very happy with my selection. The service at breakfast was friendly and attentive.
The staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and professional, which contributed to a pleasant overall experience.
One interesting aspect of this property is that it shares a building with the AC Hotel. Guests have access to amenities across both brands, and I understand breakfast could also be taken at the AC Hotel if preferred. The building also features a very nice rooftop bar. While I didn’t visit in the evening, I did walk through the space during the day, and it’s a very well-designed and inviting area with great views.
The location works well for downtown Denver, with easy access to restaurants and nearby attractions.
Overall, this was a very solid stay with good elite recognition, a strong breakfast offering, and friendly service. I would stay here again.
Very accommodating with no issues with services.
Cost of Hotel was good but no validating and having to pay extra for Valet.
