Everything was super clean and smell very good. The lady at the reciption was so nice. The only thing I was hoping to change is the check out room. I paid to check out later at 1pm, but I called earlier around 12 to check if the room will be available to extand another hour and check out around 2 pm and I was okey to pay. They told they will check and get back to me but no one called me back so I had to check out at 1pm. The amount of money is okey, but I felt it is to much to pay for extras while I paid 400 for a night. Firepit, BBQ, bathrobs. But everything else was perfect and of course I will come back and I recommanded for everyone
The rooms, the place and the owner amazing. Short walk around corner for food and convience store. Beautiful town Wakefield.

Lovely room. Value added items making the room extra special. Took full advantage of the hot tub. Lovely view from the patio doors. Cheky chipmunks playing on the patio. while I did computer work.

This was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The owners were exceptionally nice, the room was amazing and private, and the town was quaint and lively.
The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The property appeared to be very clean. The orange juice for breakfast was of good quality.
I met unprofessional hosts lacking all sense of hospitality from before check-in to checkout. I felt unwelcome, even offended, apparently because I am an experienced hospitality-industry professional with huge personal travel experience. If I had not promised a friend of mine a getaway to Wakefield on a particular weekend, I would not have stayed at this property, but taken the risk of possibly losing heaps of money.

Friendly and helpful
Perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway, very clean, comfortable and quiet. Location is great, walking distance to trails, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!
Excellent
The auberge is located on a side street with beautiful old houses, away from the traffic but within easy walking distance to all the restaurants and boutiques in Wakefield. The building and the room are modern; everything is new and fully equipped. Having the sauna on the patio was such a treat!
