The gardens at Parasol Blanc were the initial draw for me and they are absolutely lovely in person. On arrival we were warmly greeted by friendly staff. Our room was well designed and maintained with particularly nice wooden flooring. Breakfast was excellent. The restaurant is situated next to a pond and surrounded by greenery. The hotel provided a helpful map of the area with a card-stock cover that withstood multiple excursions. This kind of thoughtful touch characterized our stay there. highly recommended.

I had a wonderful stay at Parasol Blanc in Luang Prabang! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the whole atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing. As part of a wonderful 3 week tour through Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam we had the pleasure of spending 4 nights in Luang Prabang staying at the Parasol Blanc.

To say it was a delight is an understatement. It is a lovely hotel set in delightful grounds. The pool, a great place to refresh after a morning seeing the sights, was tasteful and well situated. And breakfast near the garden ponds was special every morning.

But it was the staff that made it truly special. Warm and welcoming with nothing too much trouble. I don't know if I will ever make it back to Laos but if I do I will ensure I take in Luang Prabang once more and stay at the Parasol Blanc.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and traditional Laotian hospitality. The hotel itself is a peaceful oasis — tastefully decorated with colonial charm, surrounded by lush gardens and a serene lotus pond that gives the whole place a tranquil, spiritual vibe.

My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like local artworks and a private balcony to enjoy the view. The bed was super comfortable and the AC worked like a dream (a must in Luang Prabang!).

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special. Always smiling, always helpful, and quick to offer great recommendations for food, tours, or places to explore. The e-car service into town was a bonus — convenient and free!

Breakfast in the garden was a daily highlight: fresh fruit, homemade bacon and fresh eggs, and tasty local dishes made with care. You can tell everything is done with heart here.

If you're looking for a peaceful, elegant, and authentically Laotian experience in Luang Prabang, Parasol Blanc is it. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Parasol Blanc was a great place to stay in Luang Prabang! This was my first time to Laos and it definitely exceeded my expectations. This property is beautiful with all the wonderful landscaping and the pond with a few ducks floating around. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable and we really enjoyed the balcony in the evenings.

They had a breakfast buffet in the mornings which was awesome! Plenty of items to choose from, great coffee, and someone to make eggs just the way you want them. We ate at the restaurant one evening and it was great also. The ambiance is beautiful and the staff wonderful. They make a really good mojito! We used the pool a couple of times but were too busy during most days.

We used the hotel shuttle a few times to get to the city center. There is also a bus you can take a couple of blocks away that drops you off at locations by the river. We used that many times. We really liked the location which was in the middle of a regular neighborhood with a friendly store just down the road.

Luang Prabang is such a wonderful city. The downtown area was great for shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. We also took a sunset cruise down the river which was amazing. The staff at this hotel were the best! Do not hesitate to book this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Parasol. The room was spacious comfortable and clean. The breakfasts was delicious. The pool was necessary when it was 35 degrees! We took advantage of the bikes to tour the area. We enjoyed the free transport into town. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Just returned home from our long trip through Laos. We planned our last stay for almost 1,5 week in hotel Le Parasol Blanc in Luang Prabang. We have had a great time! Everything was excellent!! The friendly helpful English speaking staff, the delicious food, the cleanliness of the rooms, the spacious rooms with balcony, the shuttle service to the centre, the beautiful garden with big pond and the singing birds and the free bicycles of the hotel.
We can recommend everybody to stay in this warm environment, that feels like home!

Hotel is very good located, you can walk to the City in 15 min and it is not noisy. The Hotel room is very good, there is everything you will need, like hairdryer, toothbrush, shampoo, balkony etc. The Service is very good and charming. The Pool is a good place to enjoy the warm wetter, there is also Service at the Pool available.

We stayed at the Parasol BLANC Hotel for five nights as part of our Laos / Cambodia round trip.

The hotel is a little away from the center of Luang Prabang but still within walking distance. Nice and quiet, ideal for relaxing. A small pool with loungers, the green garden and the restaurant by the pond invite you to linger.

The night market and the center can be reached in 15-20 minutes on foot. We were given a small city map. It was easy to find our way around and the staff at reception were very helpful. A tuk-tuk or shuttle as well as excursions can be organized on request.

Our double room was sufficiently large, clean and with a balcony. The only thing that would be desirable is a little more space to store the laundry from the travel bag.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant by the pond, fruit, coffee, taost, croissant on request egg and typical Asian breakfast variations were offered. Everything was fresh and very tasty.

If you don't feel like going into town in the evening, you can dine in the restaurant. We used this service one evening and ate a la carte on site. All the dishes were very tasty, fresh and reasonably priced.

We can recommend the Parasol BLANC Hotel without reservation and would book it again for our next stay in Luang Prabang.

The reason that happpend and why I give 03 stars.
When We checked out they said my friend used a Pringles chip. We all stoped for a while , right in the reception to confess who used it and everybody said they did not and including me.
Be very honest, WE DID NOT use it and we paid to leave anyway..
I stay many hotel around the World and honestly, when check in and get into the room I never check what they offer.. mini bar….
So, I guess there are some mistakes happening but I am so sure with you our family did not eat that stuffs.

Great little hotel in a park like setting, with rooms in separate buildings, each with its own balcony. The dining area overlooking a pool is a perfect place to relax and dine. The paths across the pool and back to your room are very enjoyable.
Hope to stay here some time again.
