Flower Garden Eco Village

The hotel is in quiet location and monkeys play in the trees. Clean rooms, however, the pool area was a little tired and cushions needed a clean. There are five dogs on-site which are well behaved during the day, however, at night they howl at the monkeys - so be warned you may not get a full nights sleep!

The pool in this hotel was excellent and each room had very high ceilings to help keep cool.

Lovely setting with pool and beautiful garden. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. I thought this was good value for the price we paid.
Areas for improvement: no towles supplied initially (had to ask), lack of toiletries in the room (no hand soap), wifi does not work, food at restaurant quite expensive. We wanted to have two beds but the rooms have inbuilt king beds so there was a small uncomfortable single bed added. No room service unless you ask and provide your key.

Il y a toujours un tuktuk pour vous enmener dans les petits restaurants situé à proximité. Piscine sympa, restaurant sympa par contre le dernier jour, un employé est rentré dans ma chambre quand nous étions au petit déjeuner, mon chauffeur qui m'attendait l'a vu rentrer et il n'avait rien à y faire. Je n'ai pas constaté de vol mais cela ne m'a pas plu.

Wir sind eine Nacht eher als geplant abgereist überall im Zimmer hat hat es gekreucht und fleucht. Nicht nur ein paar Mitbewohner was im Wald ja normal ist, hier wurden die Ecken seit Jahren nicht sauber gemacht. Ist auch irgendwie abseits gelegen Transport funktioniere nur wenn man ins Zentrum rein läuft, wo man sich im dunkeln nicht gerade sicher gefühlt hat. Das Frühstück war ganz in Ordnung, aber das Personal hat sich bei nicht Verstehen nicht nochmal erkundigt sodass die Verständigung schwer war.

Terrible conditions in the room. There were bugs, old towels and torn bed sheets. Did not have adequate hot water. Faucet controls were falling off. One of two air conditioners was not working. Pool was not usable, the water was cloudy. This property should be delisted from hotels.com.

Mysigt, ute i djungeln. Mycket Trevlig personal. Två hundar som höll vakt o hängde med oss hela tiden. Mysig pool. Lite ödsligt. God frukost. Nära till saker. Dock torkade dom av gladen med en handduk bara.

The hotel has so much potential with a great location and a wonderful pool. The staff was also excellent and really tried to do everything to make our stay perfect.

However, the rooms needs maintenance and a deep clean - one of our rooms had wholes in the ceiling so insects would fall down and ants everywhere. Therefore. we got a new room which had old towels inside, no toilet paper and still needed a deep clean.

Grande Piscine avec quelques transats et joli restaurant sous un grand porche pour les petits dejeuners et les diners. Breakfast correct mais toujours le meme et au bout de trois nuits, ça devient lassant. Restaurant dans la moyenne, ok pour dépanner mais on trouve beaucoup mieux et moins cher en allant sur la route principale vers Sigiriya. Chambres spacieuses avec grande terrasse mais l'hotel aurait besoin en generel d'un coup de neuf.

Cadre magnifique dans un écrin de verdure très bien entretenu. Le personnel est très agréable et disponible. Le restaurant de l’hôtel au top! Et que dire du coin piscine. Merci encore pour ce séjour!

Property does not have a lot of staff and is not well maintained. The grounds are beautiful, but neglected. The property is also hard to access, down a dirt road for about a kilometer. So if you're without a car it is hard to leave in the evenings. When I was there the restaurant was dark and did not provide any service.

My husband and I thought this was really neat. It's almost as though we were in the middle of the jungle. Gorgeous garden and pool. You'll also see some monsters, frogs and lizard! Staff were very v friendly we arrived almost 10pm our first night and they were willing to serve us dinner! We were grateful after a long day with no food! We would recommend it if you're in sigiriya!

Great location. Lots of dogs barking at night and in the morning. Great service. Less then 15 min to Lion Rock.

My stay was great, the location was actually perfect, not too far from the tourist attractions!

The hotel was run a bit oddly. At check-in, we were brought to a room with the door already open and the air conditioning going. I had booked a room with a second bed, which this room did not have, so we were brought to another room with a second bed that also had the door open. As a result, there were some small flies in the room. Also, we did not realize until after the front desk had closed that there were no sheets provided for the second bed. We had to request those the next day. Also, the check-out process was a bit long and hectic. There seems to be some management issues. However, the staff was friendly. There was a slip-up on my part too, as the Wi-Fi was regularly not working. Due to our language barriers, I became frustrated at not understanding why the Wi-Fi was out. Sri Lanka is currently experiencing power outages in regions, so be prepared for this. It is not the fault of the hotel.

This hotel is just opening back up. The staff is very friendly, the property is lovely, and there’s a happy German Shepherd that hangs out there. The room is big with a comfy bed. I would stay there again.

Love this spot. Very clean, hotel name really live upto the name flower garden. I will come back and stay here again. One disadvantage is the road coming into this hotel need upgrade and it’s almost like going donkey ride in Kabul!
