Had the pleasure of a wonderful 3 night stay in room 3 at this amazing hotel.
Roy and Sam are the best hosts we have experienced in all our travels around the world. Such genuine and hardworking people who want you to have the best time, which we did and nothing is too much trouble, they deserve all the success in the world.
Everything is spot on, cleanliness is exceptional, breakfast and evening meal outstanding, the homemade granola is so yummy. The view from our sea view room and the sitting room and terrace was incredible. The hotel has such a friendly, relaxing and happy vibe, everybody interacting and we met some lovely people in our short stay.
Mevagissey itself is a beautiful little fishing harbour with many lovely places to eat and drink.
We highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Mevagissey you will be glad you booked it.

We felt we had to add our review to this lovely boutique hotel overlooking the sea and views to Chapel Point. The owners have great attention to detail and personal service, including remembering your names. All details are well explained and there is enough communication for friendliness and professionalism. The rooms are great, spotlessly clean and we had the experience of Room 1 and 11, which were both wonderful. Breakfast is wonderful, especially the bacon, and the evening meal is as good as any restaurant in the area. Great selection of wines and drinks at reasonable prices. Well recommended and it's a delightful walk to Mevagissey and other coastal walks.

Many reviews about this hotel will tell you about the lovely rooms, great food and fantastic view; all true! But it's the lengths Sam and Roy will go to in order to make your stay exceptional that makes the Mevagissey Bay Hotel really special. Here are two examples.
On our first day, out of the blue at 5 o'clock (we'd only arrived at 3), my wife fancied some toast. She'd got a bit peckish and we hadn't had much lunch en route. Rather than present a justifiable 'red card' and send us on our way, Sam & Roy duly obliged, even though it took three attempts (you try preparing an evening meal for twelve people whilst keeping an eye on the toaster!).
And then a couple of days later, an Italian couple arrived at the hotel at 9.30pm having spent all day travelling including a drive in a rental car from Heathrow. They were completely wrung out and on their last legs, almost shell- shocked at having finally made it to their destination. Within minutes, Sam & Roy produced some fantastic bacon sandwiches with Cornish yarg and brought the weary travellers back to life. Magical hospitality.
Sam & Roy deserve all the success that they should rightly receive running this establishment. They put their heart and soul in to it. May they be there for many years to come for us all to be able to enjoy the Mevagissey Bay Hotel.

Food was amazing (evening meal needs to be ordered at breakfast which was fine). I can heartedly recommend this hotel and if I am in the area again I would definitely book again. Just home from a 3 night stay at this fabulous hotel. Sam and Roy are exceptional hosts, this accommodation did not disappoint in any way whatsoever. The rooms are clean and have everything you could possibly need for your stay. The beds are extremely comfortable, and we were very lucky to have a room overlooking the bay - just stunning! Breakfast was fabulous. Both hosts had knowledge of local attractions and were happy to share this and give advice when needed. We would highly recommend this accommodation if you are wanting to stay in the lovely fishing village of Mevagissey. In the words of Arnie - "We will be back"!! Thank you both for such a lovely stay.
