Nice hotel for an airport stopover.
The staff made the whole stay even more perfect with their excellent customer service skills. They were polite and welcoming.
The central location of this hotel was great as it’s right in the city centre close to all amenities.
The hotel was very clean and the beds super comfy. Had a fab nights sleep which was much needed after my flight back to the uk.
We needed a one night stay before our flight from Luton Airport. It was an amazing offer on Expedia and the cost of stay was very cheap.
The check in was very quick and straightforward. The room was ok, nothing fancy but basic. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but there was one in the reception.
We went to a Chinese buffet restaurant, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel and it was a blast. The bed was comfortable and the night was quiet.
We had to leave early in the morning so did not have breakfast.
Booked for business Sunday to Thursday night. By the Wednesday I’d had enough. I’d have left sooner but I had been Charged twice for my room. Each day I was told the additional payment would be refunded. By the time I’d had enough of the 1-2am door slamming it had reached Thursday morning and I’d decided enough was enough. Yet I still hadn’t received my refund. Credit to the native English speaking lady she sorted this for ne and was very helpful. What I wasn’t aware of was that the rules had changed for the very small car park. Not once but twice. First night it was £10. Then it was raised to £15. Then you couldn’t park in the bays on the exit ramp. So I parked at the car park an extra 30 seconds away for almost half the price.
Long boring story but as I left on the Thursday morning I checked for my refund which I hadn’t received, drove back to the hotel where the lady resolved it. But now I’ve a parking charge for £100!!! Unbelievable.
I stayed here in October 2025 and had a mixed experience overall. The location was definitely a highlight, close to key spots and easy to get around, which made exploring the area convenient. Service was decent too; the staff were generally helpful and responsive.
However, cleanliness and sleep quality were just average. The room felt a bit tired, and while it wasn’t dirty, it lacked the freshness I’d expect at this price point. Speaking of which, the value for money was disappointing. For what I paid, I expected more comfort and better room standards. The room itself was quite basic and didn’t match the photos or description.
If you’re prioritising location and just need a place to crash, it might work. But if you’re after comfort and good value, you may want to explore other options nearby.
I enjoyed a two-night stay in your hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, goof breakfast and nice location.
Very handy for the train station. Check in/ Check out quick with no fuss. Bathroom was the only thing that let the room down (put some wet wall panels up over the tiles - sorted). Bed very comfy. Breakfast very good apart from the scrambled eggs (a bit dry).
buffet good
Firstly the hotel is difficult to find. Being on foot and walking around Luton town centre on a Saturday night in the dark alone was not ideal. Eventually found it after calling reception and walking over a big ramp.
Poor service and poor standards from arrival. I was put on the top floor despite my poor mobility. I got to my room to find the tv did not work. It could not be fixed so ended up watching my own iPad all evening. Luckily the WiFi connection is good. Dirty shower and really poor standard of decoration in what is a very small room, so you notice things more.
Heating was on when it absolutely did not need to be, so had to have window open all night which meant wind whistling and keeping me awake. Didn’t sleep well. Couldn’t try breakfast as I was nil by mouth as I had an operation the day after my stay - was feeling very alone and vulnerable having travelled all day, so to end up at a rubbish hotel was incredibly disappointing.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, good Wi-Fi. Stayed overnight.
Good
The staff were absolutely outstanding & made our entire trip so much more enjoyable. They really went above & beyond.
The rooms were clean & modern and the beds were SO comfy - I wanted to book an extra night just to stay in that bed! Good shower and 1st hotel I've stayed at that's had a decent hairdryer!
Hotel is next to a shopping centre, cinema, 10 pin bowling & lots of places to eat but rooms were still pretty quiet (we had rooms 722 & 906)
Definitely recommend this hotel for a friendly, welcoming, comfortable stay.
V good no problems
Bit of an old unit best accessed from the shopping centre. It does a job for the price and the staff were helpful.
Just about average all round, good location for the station. Needs more signage for the entrance. if its just a bed to sleep in, you can't go wrong with this budget option,
Drugs using under hotel ramp were some people sleep ruff. At rear of the hotel in small square down and outs and Alcoholics drinking . My wife found it unsafe, we were told when out near the hotel we get are faces kicked in by drunk person. The area looks run down in places and if safe why have security guard on site at the hotel. I only used the Thristle Hotel because i used their Heathrow hotel twice before.
There was rubish under the bed otherwise was perfect for a short stay
Breakfast was ok but it is a cashless hotel so better be prepared
Was a great experience.
My partner cousin stayed here reassures me he had given the receptionist my car reg then I recieved a parking fine I called up the gentlemen said he would help but then he said there was nothing he can do the day after it went it went too 100 if he said one day earlier I would have paid the 60 he gave me an email to send my parking fine to and the email is not working very disappointed as I wasn't there but it was my car it was 3 mins over the time and I have to pay 100 pound because he gave me an email address that don't work
