Very central, excellent orientation on arrival. Basic but functional room.
A cheap functional stopover.
Whilst there was complimentary tea & coffee in the lobby, it would have been more convenient to have this in the room, we would also have appreciated a mini-fridge in this heat to keep drinks cool. There is no A.C in the rooms, a fan was provided, but the heat was stifling.
The room was clean, compact and comfy, and for the £48 that I paid for one night before going to the airport it was great. Cheap room, good facilities - did what it said on the tin. However, the air-conditioning was not working. There was a note on the wall saying that it did not work and reception could provide a fan if required, which in the height of summer is not ideal.
The hotel is situated in what I can only describe as a crack-den estate. I’ve never been to Luton before and there were lots of people loitering, smoking, playing loud music directly outside the hotel and around it. When we went for dinner it was quite intimidating walking past lots of people sitting on walls, and sitting on the green communal areas around the hotel and staring at us.
The hotel has an Uber machine where you can order Ubers directly from a company called weknowlondon. The machine prompts you to order your ride, then make payment, then wait for your driver. I followed this process and after half an hour (at 4am in the morning), the morning of our flight it did not arrive. When I called Uber, I was told that weknowlondon was an independent company and they could not help. When I then called weknowLondon they told me that they were aware that they had no Uber drivers in Luton and my money would be refunded. When I asked them why the machine is in reception taking peoples money when they were aware they had no Uber drivers the answer was I don’t know and someone will contact me in two days to be to refunded. I’ve had to chase this company over the course of my holiday about my money and I have still not received it. It’s now been over a week, so at some point I’ll be I’ll be contacting my bank for a charge back. This company is fraudulent and this machine is in reception taking peoples money and not providing them with taxis. I was so stressed as I was travelling with my young son and we got to the airport for 10 minutes to spare before check in closed after waiting for a local taxi to arrive. Avoid the Uber machine!

The location was ok, very central for the town centre.
Their was no air conditioning in the room and the windows only open a little bit. The room itself was quite small and stuffy. The security staff weren’t very opening and seemed very standoffish and actually quite miserable.
As a wheelchair user I require a bit of help with doors and the staff couldn’t have been better! Attentive, helpful and friendly. I really can’t thank them enough

Rough area, felt very vulnerable. Not sure on customers, allows of drugs, unsavoury characters in corridors, punch up outside our room. Not for family's, ladies on their own
Lovely and clean, arrived at hotel early, asked if we could leave our bags as we weren’t going to be returning till early morning, they said our rooms were ready and could check in

Room was really well kept, was given a warm welcome at reception. Everything worked fine. Shower was brilliant. Beds were very comfortable and everything worked as it should. Coffee, tea, milk, kettle and mugs are provided. Easy walk into the town for food, drinks, shopping etc.
Car parking on site is limited and chargeable but if you have a Blue badge it s free and they have a couple of designated places. Otherwise, you can park at the car park just down the road.
