Pros:

Decent hotel - accommodation met expectations

Cons:

Had a musty smell and breakfast was only so-so - eggs in particular were disappointing

Cosy friendly stay.
Pros:

Very friendly greeting, cosy recently decorated room varied menu and good value for money.

Cons:

I was unlucky to be eating on an evening when there was a dance class. Unfortunately the door was left open to the function room and the music loud and repetitive. They only had one music track.

Reasonable.
Pros:

Great view and location. Nice big room. Clean. Nice bathroom and bath.

Cons:

Bed was quite hard. Pillows not very comfortable.
Window very draughty. Stuffed loo roll in it which helped.
Paint had been spilt on carpet and not cleaned off.

Pros:

The location was perfect for us It was a very short walk to the beach, we chose a room with a sea view and it was perfect. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome , we had evening meals at the hotel and they were very good, well cooked, good portion size. The room was clean,tidy but most importantly nice and warm especially as we visited in the winter

The Strong smell of paint
Pros:

I'll start on a semi positive, the room was comfortable & clezn

Cons:

I'd asked for a bath, there wasn't one, so I went & spoke to the guy on reception he let us move to one with a bath. My daughter & I walked in to the room & were immediately hit with a strong smell of paint I made a coffee, but thought no, we cant stay in her, I was already getting a headache. I went downstairs again. All he kept saying was we've cleaned the room & if you want to move back to the first room its £10 . Nope not paying. Eventually he let us go back. He didn't believe me. We popped out & on our return the guy said, excuse me made youre right it does smell if paint. My reply was I dont say something if it isn't fact. The room needs to be ventilated & you should t be renting it out untill the smell has gone. This was GLOSS paint on the headboard wall & it was still tacky. Also the toilet brush had poo on it. Not nice .

Good value at the price point for where I stayed clean warm and great staff
Pros:

Great location brilliant views if you are lucky enough to get a sea view. The location is good for access to both beach and town. The restaurant is nicely laid out and breakfast was well received, the bar areas also looked welcoming but unfortunately I was unable to explore.

Cons:

Its a bit dated in places but they are not noticeable to the naked eye, what struck me was the loud footfall and vibration from the corridor outside my room in the wee hours as someone traversed the corridor, for a moment I thought they had entered my room!
