Breakfast inedible
Friendly staff. Good location.
Somebody smoked in their room and set the fire alarm off at 1am. However the hotel staff immediately had everyone out of the hotel and checked it wasn't a real fire. Although not nice it was a relief to know they were on the ball with fire safety.
I was upgraded from a single to a twin room. It was comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Biscuits were provided in the room. It was very good value and in an excellent location.
The water took a while to drain away in the bath and the washbasin.
This is the second time I have been there in a month and I liked all off it the rooms were big and clean and bathroom was clean and big staff lovely
Nothing
Location was perfect. Staff pleasant
Decor was tired. Blind didn’t fit the bedroom window properly allowing light in. Hairdryer didn’t work at all. Masking tape not removed under vanity table after some repainting. Tea/coffee, milk etc not replaced daily. Bar closed early each night.
Friendly, helpful staff, nice hotel
Easy access to the centre
Decent hotel - accommodation met expectations
Had a musty smell and breakfast was only so-so - eggs in particular were disappointing
Great stay. Staff are so welcoming.
It’s an hotel you want the owners to succeed because you see how hard they work.
Very friendly greeting, cosy recently decorated room varied menu and good value for money.
I was unlucky to be eating on an evening when there was a dance class. Unfortunately the door was left open to the function room and the music loud and repetitive. They only had one music track.
Great view and location. Nice big room. Clean. Nice bathroom and bath.
Bed was quite hard. Pillows not very comfortable.
Window very draughty. Stuffed loo roll in it which helped.
Paint had been spilt on carpet and not cleaned off.
Nice staff, clean and comfortable
The location was perfect for us It was a very short walk to the beach, we chose a room with a sea view and it was perfect. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome , we had evening meals at the hotel and they were very good, well cooked, good portion size. The room was clean, tidy but most importantly nice and warm especially as we visited in the winter
Can't really say anything negative it was good hotel
I'll start on a semi positive, the room was comfortable & clezn
I'd asked for a bath, there wasn't one, so I went & spoke to the guy on reception he let us move to one with a bath. My daughter & I walked in to the room & were immediately hit with a strong smell of paint I made a coffee, but thought no, we cant stay in her, I was already getting a headache. I went downstairs again. All he kept saying was we've cleaned the room & if you want to move back to the first room its £10 . Nope not paying. Eventually he let us go back. He didn't believe me. We popped out & on our return the guy said, excuse me made youre right it does smell if paint. My reply was I dont say something if it isn't fact. The room needs to be ventilated & you should t be renting it out untill the smell has gone. This was GLOSS paint on the headboard wall & it was still tacky. Also the toilet brush had poo on it. Not nice .
