Fue también muy conveniente tener el shuttle gratuito que nos llevaba o recogía de la estación central de. Kioto.

Pros:

Breakfast is extraordinary. Rooms have everything you need all tucked away in ingenious ways. The public bath is wonderful. It's in a really charming neighborhood. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Pros:

The Celestine Hotel is located in south Higashiyama in the heart of old Kyoto.
The hotel features an exceptional restaurant Kyoto Tempura Endo. Breakfast was exceptional too.
The staff has been impeccable throughout our stay and shown the uttermost courtesy and efficiency in accommodating my requests for the organisation of my proposal evening.
The hotel also features a bar with happy hour.
Overall an exceptional stay.

Pros:

concenient location in Gion near the temples, comfortably furnished rooms, wide beds, wonderful hot baths and their working hours - from 3 p.m. to 10 a.m., you can go before midnight or before breakfast to soak in the bath. The happy hours bar suprised us - open from 4 p.m. till 6 p.m. , self- service, you can choose white or red wine, beer, soft drinks, snacks, strong drinks as well, if the bar is crowded you can take it out. The breakfast was excellent, the food was varied and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel shuttle runs to Kyoto Station - very convenient.

Bon emplacement, petite chambre, petit déjeuner style cafétéria.
Pros:

Très bon emplacement pour découvrir Kyoto.
Onsen beau et peu fréquenté.
Les produits du petit déjeuner sont corrects.

Cons:

Le lounge minuscule et bondé pour l’happy hour, sans vue.
La chambre relativement petite avec une salle de bain/couloir d’entrée, et assez peu isolée phoniquement, on se fait réveiller par l’aspirateur à 8h ou les gens qui passent devant la chambre en parlant.
Le petit déjeuner est le gros point faible : on nous annonce une fin à 10h30, mais c’est totalement faux puisqu’à 10h tout est enlevé, et ce 4 matins de suite ce n’est donc pas une erreur. On se demande pourquoi ils mentent sur les horaires. La salle du petit déjeuner est peu attirante, on doit se servir avec des plateaux qui font un peu cafétéria, aucun service par les employés (ni thé ni eau rien, tout est self service).

Enfin, nous avons souhaité commander un taxi pour un long trajet ; l’employé de l’accueil, au bout de 30 minutes à nous avoir fait attendre assis dans le lobby, n’avait toujours appelé aucune compagnie, nous ne comprenions pas ce qu’elle attendait. Les échanges en anglais avec elle étaient très compliqués. Au final nous nous sommes débrouillés sans elle. Pour un hôtel de ce standing on s’attend à une conciergerie un minimum efficace, et qui ne nous fait pas perdre 1 heure de vacances inutilement.

Perfection! The value of this incredible hotel is all round. Rooms, cleanliness, location and the excellent team that go above and beyond. Then add in a beautiful, well kept bar and a late night Onsen and you have the perfect hotel at this price point.
