Excellent hotel with great service and great location
Pros:

Excellent customer service at check-in, at the breakfast, every where, breakfast is great, room is very nice, everything super clean, very good location.

Cons:

The happy hour bar is too small, a close room with a view to wall garden.

Kyoto magic at your fingertips
Pros:

The location is wonderful with all of Kyoto central areas within walking distance. It is spotless and the staff are so very friendly. Rooms are large and well equipped. Some amazing restaurants nearby.

Cons:

We felt the bar needed a bit of a makeover. We went there for drinks one night and several people came in and looked at it before walking out. The barman is a treasure but the space is not welcoming.

Ganz toll gelegen, mitten in Gion aber doch ruhig. Nette Zimmer, bequeme Betten. Sehr nettes Personal.

Cons:

Atmosphäre im Hotel Restaurant erinnerte an Kantine. Es gibt nur 3 Menus zur Auswahl (2x Tempura, 1x ShabuShabu). Das Essen war gut.

Excellent stay - modern & Japanese design with style. Very good location, 15 min walk to everything fun in Pontochan alley, Gion, Kyoto main shopping area but quiet as it was far enough from the crowds. kind & professional staff

Le calme au coeur de Gion
Pros:

l'emplacement est parfait, dans le quartier de Gion, mais au calme. A 10 mn à pied de la pagode, idéal pour les visites très matinales avant que le monde arrive ou bien tardive après diner, très calme et illuminé. Chambre très confortable et calme. il manque quelques m2 pour ouvrir de grosses valises mais c'est tout à fait correct. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Je dirai qu'il pourrait y avoir un coin bar/ petit snacking cela améliorerait encore le confort et l'hospitalité.

Gorgeous Onsen and luxurious hotel
Pros:

The room feels luxurious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is very beautiful, the Onsen is gorgeous with a nice view to an indoor garden. They provide lockers, beauty products, towels, hairbrush, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent right in Gion, close to shops, temples, restaurants and a train station. I totally recommend.
