Locke welcomes guests and their furry friends for stays at all properties for a one-off fee. This cost includes deep-cleaning, plus toys and treats, a dog bowl and door hanger to use during your stay, and is available at all Locke properties, in all apartment types.

Please note that a maximum of 1 dog is allowed as the property can only allow pets with a maximum weight of 30 kilos. Registered service animals will be permitted in all locations where notice has been given prior to arrival. Additional charges apply for dogs (excluding registered service dogs) and a completed pet waiver upon check-in is mandatory. Supplies in the room - could do with more teabags, milk and loo roll. Although all provided by reception you just have to remember to ask

Walking distance to everything & comfort at night
Pros:

Excellent location, friendly staff, room had everything we needed including a washer/dryer

Cons:

The windows wouldn’t stay open and kept closing at night — but maybe we didn’t know how to secure them properly

We will return as we had to cut our stay...... and we will be returning to Eden Locke.
Pros:

I loved everything about it... location was top, staff were superb, food and coffee was perfect. Our bed was firm but still made for a good sleep, everything about the experience was convenient and comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing really, the weather.... lol

A brilliant, well located place to stay in Edinburgh.
Pros:

The studios are spacious. There is a half wall dividing the bedroom area from the kitchen area. I liked that there was a kitchen table with 2 chairs, and also a small sofa. Bed very comfortable. Nice big windows. Good curtains. Soundproofing quite good. Didn’t hear a lot from my neighbours.
Bathroom and shower high quality. Underfloor heating.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. I liked that there were actual people on the reception desk at all times, and not only online check in. Location near Charlotte Square fabulous.

Cons:

Lighting very arty and subdued in the bedroom. Okay, but I read in the kitchen area which had better lighting.
No instructions for kitchen appliances in the apartment. As I don’t have a smart phone I could not access the manuals. You have to go back down to reception for help. Simple written instructions about the appliances on the welcome clipboard in the apartment would be brilliant!

Be aware there is only 1 pot and 1 frying pan for cooking. One glass casserole dish. Other kitchen tools are provided, but no spatula. Enough crockery, glassware and cutlery for 2 people.

No lobby for guests. Reception is in a corner of the cafe that is open to the public. Not a problem for me, but just know that there is no big hotel space at the entrance for guests to linger except the very small reception area. Or you can use the cafe restaurant.

Sehr gute und zentrale Lage in Edinburgh, trotzdem ruhig, nachts konnten wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen. Zimmer war sauber, Personal sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung der Küche war etwas dürftig. Nur 1 Topf, 1 zerkratzte Pfanne. Zur Selbstversorgung daher nur bedingt geeignet.

Great place for a holiday in Edinburgh
Pros:

Facilities in the room were great. Staff on reception desk were very helpful. Very well located for all Edinburgh sights and attractions. Twenty minute walk to/from railway station
