Magnificent place to stay.
Pros:

The customer service is absolutely superb. From the cooks, waiters, front desk, room attendants, and even the night security guard. I’m absolutely impressed. It’s right next to everything. Even a 24 hour 7-11.

Each staff interaction was frustrating… Which is not typical for Aloft. Check-in felt chaotic and all over the place. when I called to get an ironing board and an iron, I waited 10 minutes on hold to make the request. and then it took another 45 minutes before I got the actual items. when we tried to grab something from the grab and go shop, we had to wait another 10 minutes for the front desk person to finish their phone call.. just so we could charge our items to the room. and when I ordered coffee at the coffee shop downstairs, I had to repeat my order three times to the barista.
