An amazing, clean, and peaceful stay in Phrae. Highly recommended!

Krankzinnig slechte gastvrijheid die zijn gelijke in Thailand niet kent! Bij het absurde af!

We komen hier dan ook never nooit niet meer terug!

Cons:

Als je een keer onvriendelijke Thaise mensen tegen wilt komen, dan moet je HIER zijn! Mijn vrouw is Thaise, komt nota bene uit dit stadje, maar heeft dit nog nooit eerder meegemaakt. Bijvoorbeeld dat de sleutels gewoon over de toonbank naar haar toe werden geschoven. Ook de toon en manier van converseren was dramatisch. Verwacht geen 'sawasdee krab' hier of een wai. Ook niet als je 's avonds terugkomt van een uitje. Nul komma nul attentie, van geen enkele receptiemedewerker.
Dan het ontbijt. Dat het klein was, oké, maar dat er gewoon bijna elke dag te weinig was dat kan gewoon niet. De tafels stonden nog vol met vuile afwas en omdat er maar één persoon aan het werk was kwam die hier niet aan toe, òf vond datgene wat zich op haar iPad afspeelde belangrijker dan wat haar klanten wensen.
Als je denkt hier rustig te kunnen uitslapen, dat kan. Maar alleen op zondag. Want aan de achterzijde bevindt zich een autogarage en afwasstraat. Om 08.00 uur beginnen ze. Voordeel is wel dat je dan op tijd bent voor het ontbijt.
Er is geen lift aanwezig. Er is ook niemand aanwezig, danwel bereidt, om je te helpen je koffers naar de eerste verdieping te dragen. Er gaat ook niemand met je mee om je je kamer te tonen.
Het zwembad is fijn voor diegene die het fijn vinden om de uitlaatgassen van de auto's op het parkeerterrein in te ademen. Het is ook fijn voor diegene die met één slag aan de overkant wensen te zijn. Maar hier kwamen we zelf niet voor, dus vonden dat niet zo'n probleem.

จองล่วงหน้าเรียบร้อย ประมาณ 7-10 วัน และชำระเต็ม ก่อนมาถึง ได้ มีการโทรคุยกับ จนท รร 2-3 ครั้ง ซึ่ง จนท รร ไม่ได้บอกให้ทราบก่อนเลยว่า มีอาหารเช้าไม่ครบทุกห้อง

จนกระทั่งมาถึงเช็คอิน เราก็ถาม จนท "มีอาหารด้วยใช่มั้ยคะ" เพื่อรีคอนเฟิร์ม นางก็บอกว่ามี ก็เลยไม่คิดอะไร แต่ตอนค่ำ กลับมี พนง โทรมาแจ้งว่า ที่จองมา บางห้อง ไม่มีอาหารเช้านะ ต้องจ่ายเพิ่ม (เราก็ยัง ok นะ เพราะต้องจ่าย เพราะดึกแล้ว...)

ที่เสียความรู้สึกมาก็คือ พนง ที่นี่ หน้าตาบอกบุญไม่รับมากๆ คือ ไม่ว่าจะถามอะไร อย่างเรื่องอาหารเช้า จะบอกเพียงว่า ผมไม่ทราบ เพราะรับเรื่องมาจากกะกลางวันเท่านั้น เค้าฝากให้มาถาม... เราถามอีกว่า 7-11 ยังมาส่งมั้ย ก็ตอบว่าผมไม่ทราบ จนเราไปได้คำตอบจากผู้เข้าพักคนอื่นอีกห้องนึง เขาตอบให้

พนง ที่นี่ เหมือนมาทำงานเพราะเป็นจ๊อบเท่านั้น เหมือนเราไปขออาศัยพักด้วย อะไรๆ ก็ไม่มีความช่วยเหลือทั้งสิ้น หากถามอะไร ก็จะได้คำตอบว่า : ไม่ทราบครับ ไม่มีครับ ไม่ได้ครับ

เอาเป็นว่า ใครจะมาก็มาค่ะ แต่ครอบครัวเรา คงไม่กล้ามารบกวนพักที่นี่อีกแล้วค่ะ

Enjoyed the 3-day stay in a good hotel with a helpful staff and pleasant surroundings.
Pros:

Quiet surrounding and easy access to the room and dining area. I also enjoyed the swimming pool with its jacuzzi after a hot afternoon.

Cons:

I missed a small side table with a lamp next to the bed.
