Great service

Over all an excellent place to stay while on vacation. They’ve complimentary pick up from airport along with chilled coconut water on these hot days. Very welcoming & friendly staff. Good restaurant with good menu options.Service in the restaurant could have been a little better and faster. Will recommend this place to family and friends.

Well, where do I start!

This is probably the best customer experience I’ve ever had from a hotel.

We booked a room with an airport pickup included along with 2 x 60 min massages a day.

From the moment we were greeted at the airport we were treated like royalty, the transfer was smooth and we were immediately provided with a cold flannel and fresh ice cold coconut.

Our room was brilliant and comes with a mini fridge with complementary water and soft drinks.

The food in the hotel is really, really good. Our first night we ate at the hotel and we were not disappointed one bit and it was very well priced.

We took advantage of a guided Ankor Wat Sunrise tour which is a must do which the hotel organised for us. Throughout the day we were given ice cold flannels and bottled water.

The hotel offers a free one way Tuktuk ride into town which only takes about 10 mins. When we were ready to come back we simply WhatsApp’d the driver to collect us for $3 (US), which could be added to your room bill if you didn’t have cash.

On leaving the hotel pretty much all staff on site came to wave us goodbye including the chef’s who we’d not seen. That level of detail sums up the hotel and the great leadership it has from Sy.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, it’s a quality place but it’s the staff and its people that make this a place I will never ever forget and hope to return to sometime in the future.

Wonderful small hotel. Stayed in the Royal Suite. Lovely big room with good lounge area and a spacious bathroom with rainwater shower. Pool area is a welcome oasis in the heat. Great little restaurant with a good choice of breakfast. Staff were so friendly! Free Tuk Tuk in to town about 10 minutes away.

We had a wonderful stay at Shintana Saya Residence. The staff were incredibly kind, warm, and attentive—going above and beyond to make us feel truly welcome. When we arrived, they were all there to greet us with genuine smiles, and when it was time to leave, they gathered once more to bid us farewell and wish us a safe journey home.

David, although we didn’t have the chance to meet, I wanted to let you know how exceptional your team is. They are dedicated, hard-working, and a true credit to your residence. Once the hotel reopens, I sincerely hope you'll consider bringing them back.

Absolutely amazing stay at Shintana Saya. Staff were increadibly helpful and service oriented. My wife summed it up well - ,most zen hotel we have ever stayed at. Beautiful pool area, nice breakfast and nice small things like pieces of fresh fruit when we got back from our day sighteeing in Ankor. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Many apologies for this late submission. My sister, her friend (the two of them shared a room) and I booked two rooms in January 3025. Very simply, we were treated like royalty; the service was faultless, the spacious rooms were impeccable, and every one was most helpful. The dining area, while small, served fresh juices and coconut water for the asking and the chef was eager to customise the breakfast offering, which was sumptuous. Also, the hotel arranged all local transport which could go on the bill. Although the location may appear to be a bit far from the hourly-burly of the town Center, it’s only 10 minutes away from an auto-rickshaw ride. Would stay at this lovely oasis anytime.

Staff and service were so fantastic. My 11 year old said she felt like royalty! They greeted me by name with so many welcome drinks, fruit and extras every day. Wonderful communication and set up tours for us with fantastic drivers and guide. The property itself is so beautiful and welcoming. We had 2 suites connected with so much room. They opened early for breakfast on our departure day so we didn’t miss out. Absolutely outstanding!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was perfect. We hope to visit again in the future.

Highly personalized treatment in a beautiful small hotel in Siem Rep. close to Angkor Wat, very convenient for an early, sunrise visit. Surprisingly high quality ford in the restaurant. Beautiful room and swimming pool. Loved it.

The team at Shintana Saya Residence was the true highlight of our stay. Their hospitality was unparalleled, and they treated us not just as guests but as family. Mr. Sy ensured every part of our visit was seamless, orchestrating everything from pre-arrival planning to daily activities with effortless precision. Daven welcomed us warmly at the airport, setting the tone for what would be an incredible experience. "That" and Sopheak were always ready to assist with transportation and thoughtful gestures, ensuring we felt completely at home. Their genuine care shone through in every interaction, including our departure, which was handled with the same grace as our arrival. Our dining experiences were unforgettable, thanks to the amazing culinary team and especially Lalin and Sopheak (a different one). Lalin, in particular, turned every meal into a highlight of our day. The massages at Shintana Saya Residence were, without exaggeration, the best we’ve ever had. Leutt and Chanry are true masters of their craft, providing a level of relaxation and rejuvenation that was second to none. Shintana Saya Residence is more than just a hotel—it’s a home away from home!
