VILLA EDEN - The Private Retreat

Villa Eden is perfectly located just 20 min drive from Bolzano airport. It’s a 2 hrs direct flight from London Gatwick with Skyalps which makes it a very convenient journey.
The ambience truly envisions heaven on Earth with the Lily Pond being my favourite place in the entire hotel, whether it was for a sauna with a view, a morning workout with a personal tutor or just chilling.
My Suite was spacious with a walk-in wardrobe and all brand-new state of the art furnishings and facilities.
The food quality was top of the top as it all came from their own garden or from local farmers. The service and presentation was like a theatre which made every dinner a fancy experience.
SPA treatments surpassed all my expectations as they lasted for 2hrs and included a full body massage with experienced therapists.
I came back home with a comprehensive balanced day by day diet by Dr Emanuele di Nobili who did all his best to ensure I keep on eating healthy at home adding all the missing micro-nutrients to my menu.
I’m looking forward to come back to Villa Eden next year.

what an incredible hotel! so quiet and peaceful. incredibly nicely decorated. friendly staff. such a good breakfast. many healthy options. the food was delicious.

What I liked less was that you could add a tip after you've eaten, but then when you check out, the hotel still automatically adds a service tip to the final bill.

And no hair conditioner in the bathroom.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with the entire experience during our stay at Villa Eden. Our suite was well appointed and comfortable. I can't say enough about the food and staff. Merano is a gem of a town and a short walk from the resort. We will be back to Villa Eden.

Our stay at Villa Eden was an unforgettable experience. The magnificent grounds, nestled in a beautiful park, are a true sanctuary—a place of strength and tranquility where everything is immaculately maintained. The spa is among the most stunning we have ever seen. Culinary delights awaited us every day; the food was outstanding, and the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our gracious host, Angelika, who was always present and welcoming. We also greatly appreciated the inspiring lectures and talks, and Mirko the sports trainer truly set us back on the right path to a healthy, fulfilling life. Whenever possible, we will gladly return, hoping to make even more use of the wonderful wellness programs.

Lovely outdoor space and garden. Well appointed clean rooms with good amenities. Bed was comfy and room ambience was very relaxing. We love the terrace facing the lush gardens with white hydrangeas around, a peaceful place ideal for a quiet break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff are so lovely and super accomodating, thank you to all, we enjoyed our talks while dining. The spa was an added value, a face analysis, book this its included. The pool
area is big enough and the indoor pool is my favorite, private and the jacuzzi is a plus as well as the turkish bath. Dining al fresco was also a lovely affair in the evenings, relaxing and easy. Lovely retreat, we had a great time. Highly recommended.

The attention to details in ensuring their guests feel pampered is definitely over and beyond.
I was there to celebrate my 50th birthday with 21 girlfriends. Every single person had a lovely time, from checking in to making provisions for those whose flights were delayed/cancelled to having our meals as a group to the treatments and rescheduling of treatments etc.
On my birthday, I was celebrated at breakfast , Angelika was on ground as I went down to dinner and the dinner was very well put together. I couldn’t have asked for more.
The restaurant staff made each meal time pleasant and easy to enjoy. They noticed a friend of mine who is not adventurous with food and they made sure that the few things she liked were always available for her.
Very well worth it. Will I be back there? Most definitely.

Amazing hotel and team—very lovely experience for those desiring boutique experience with refinements

The hotel was is a more residual area. The grounds and gardens were beautiful. We were offered a complimentary drink upon our arrival, served by a very nice waiter. Our room was large with a bathroom that included a large tub and shower. There was also a balcony that overlooked the gardens. Everything about this place was first class. We ate in their restaurant, which was also excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was a very strange experience our 3 day stay over Christmas was spoilt by being given a table in a dining room which is not shown anywhere with fixed menu for two nights
The room at best can be described as having the feeling of an airport lounge not in the least bit intimate or atmospheric we asked twice to be moved and it wasn’t until the last day that the owner said that the other dining areas as shown in all the literature are for diners on wellness packages - we weren’t offered this or told this at anytime
The fixed menus were fish one night and meat the next - quality of food-was fine but no choice ???
If venison tartare isn’t your preference ?!
We tried not to make a fuss of the fact that our room and bathroom was outdated and in need of modernisation and not shown in our booking information but hoped service would be good and we didn’t want to spoil our stay and much needed rest but honestly this kind of service is what I’d expect from a 3 star hotel
The staff mainly were very welcoming and friendly but senior management of restaurant honestly is not what we are used to in 5 star or Michelin starred establishments.
To ask to be moved more than once from our ‘designated’ table when spaces were available is really very peculiar.
Nothing wrong with the quality of the food but be prepared to have no choice and not be told this in advance and to feel like you’re dining in waiting room corridor.
To sit in the comfortable area shown on the website you need apparently to have had some kind of psychic insight into meal plans
None of which was supplied including the fixed menus over Christmas !

The spa has the most professional treatments for health and longevity .
The large indoor pool and hot tub are great .
The staff are all friendly and helpful .
The food is delicious and healthy with a Michelin star chef .
The cleanliness is perfection .
The hotel and the outdoor gardens with pool and sauna are beautiful.
The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable .
Villa Eden is a wonderful destination .
I wish we could stay longer and I wait for the day to return .
In my opinion , Villa Eden is PARADISE FOUND .

Beautiful hotel with amazing service. We also tried the Tasting Room for dinner one night and it was exquisite! The food was amazing, presentation and service exceptional. Highly recommend doing this and we will definitely come back and do it again

It was the top of Hospitalty I have ever experienced. The garden was more like a huge park neetly taken care of. All up a 10 out of 10. It is actually a health resort. But we did not take advantage of it.

The place is extraordinary !!!

Incredible hotel.
The owner is on site and leaves no stone unturned.
The decor is fantastically elegant & stylish with every little detail captured to the highest standard.

We’ve never visited a hotel, where every single meal was excellent, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. The taster menu was unbelievable, especially the aperetif. Marcello the chef should have at least 1 Michelin star for his excellence.

Giovanni and Raj - best service possible. Exceptional.

And let’s not forget the very knowledgeable and talented doctor that they had on site who spent a lot of time going through a very detailed report following an epigentic test, using food as the prevention.

Would definitely revisit.
