Do not stay in this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!

We chose this hotel for its location and it was perfect! The view from our room was beautiful.

Where do I start!!!!!
The room we were given was beyond description……the carpet was filthy you wiped your feet on the way out! Furniture was very dated and stained!!! The bathroom was disgusting, all around the edge of the bath was broken and then was no soap or toiletries. I have taken photographs and added them,but you cannot smell the smell or see the full effect of the disgusting room. We didn’t even stop in the room I went straight back to reception to complain.The staff throughout the hotel were lovely we could not fault them.They did move us room and as I said the view was amazing. But still very dated. So disappointing. All the corridors have a stale wee smell to them. The only good thing was luckily the bed was comfortable and breakfast was lovely and the dining room was the only room that looked clean!!! I thought the hotel was going to spoil our reason for being in Lincoln but fortunately we looked past it and enjoyed ourselves.

Great location. Easy access to Lincoln centre. Staff welcoming on arrival.

Rooms are poorly decorated. Flaking paint, unfinished, and too many issues with presentation.

Fabulous location by the Cathedral.
Pros:

Location of the hotel and the breakfast room in particular was excellent. Staff at breakfast were very good.
