Location opposite Cathedral was excellent, comfortable room. Good car park even at £7 per night. The Staff were pleasant, polite and helpful
Generally the Hotel externally looked very tired and in need of TLC. The Ensiute was in need of refurbishment and a new shower. There was no electric socket next to the dressing table for my wife to use hair dryer. If you went down to breakfast after 8 the food wasn't very warm. Thought the bar was a bit austere.
The room has a lovely view of the cathedral, staff were lovely, I forgot my phone charger, reception were happy to loan me one.
Bed was comfortable
Stains on the carpet, black mould on the sealants in the bathroom, cheap loo roll and no hairdryer, surprisingly there was an iron and ironing board
Just feel it’s a bit neglected and needs a little TLC wouldn’t take much
The position of the hotel was great. Near to the cathedral and the castle with lots of parking. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was very good
Some of the furniture was "tired" in the room I was in.

The hotel is in a spectacular location looking directly to the magnificent Cathedral and within the amazing old part of the city,close to the castle and the top of the stunning 'steep hill' street. The lovely independent shops,traditional pubs and great coffee shops in this part of the city are wonderful and definitely worth a visit.The Lincoln hotel was the perfect host for our AGM conference, the staff were wonderful, thank you.We really enjoyed our balcony room.

The location is perfect, the food is very good and the staff are excellent.
There are signs wear and tear in the rooms and it is clear that the hotel needs a fair bit of refurbishment.

The corridor smelt of something nasty on floor 2, damp in the room along the bathroom wall where paint had bubbled up, not good for asthmatic! Bathroom needed an upgrade and paint on door flaking off, also cold shower could not get hot water through at all :-(
Location was excellent and staff very friendly
The hotel is very dated, our room was in very poor condition. Plaster was missing on the walls , massive crack above the window. Surface of the dressing table seemed covered in old hair lacquer. The enamel in the bath was worn, and I don't know what all the white was on the black tiles in the floor. The only thing really clean was the bedding. Would never go back
The location was absolutely ideal. Good to have car parking at a central hotel.
No bedside light. Poor quality toilet paper!
Rooms could Definitely do with a lick of paint. Need more coffee machines for breakfast. Only one which took 1/2 to get a drink. Waiting for breakfast food to be topped up , took ages.
We had a room with a garden. They need a Gardner. Lol. Situated well in city.
Charged car park fee, which I don’t mind but they didn’t tell me till I checked out. My friend didn’t get charged. ?
The food for breakfast was lovely and a good selection , the location for what we needed was great., staff were friendly
The carpets were awful in the corridors thead bear in places and a trip hazzard, didnt give a good impression. Carpets wetent clean by skirting boards.
The bed wasnt comfortable and the pillows were rock hard.
Wasnt allowed to pay for extra parking as i had my sons graduation at 10 30, so had to move the car early as we had to be there for 8.
We were done by 1 so i cant see why this isnt allowed if you are willing to pay as the new guests cant check in until 2.
Wasnt enough dusabled parking in the car park which isnt great when you have a disabled parent mid eighties.
Beautiful situation, across the road from Lincoln Cathedral. Great breakfast. Lovely staff.
