Hotel Kokomo

OK, so this place could probably stand a freshening up. The carpets did indeed have some stains, but I thought they were worse in the hallways than in our room.

The hotel seems oriented more for Japanese guests... you have to switch your shoes for slippers near the front desk. While there are toilets in each room, the bathing facilities are shared. There is one room for men and one for women. The men's area, which I used, had a dressing room with a big mirror and cubbyholes to put your clothing, and then a typical bathing room with hand showers and stools where you wash off plus a big tub or two if you want to soak. This was pushing my comfort zone slightly, even without using the tub, but I was fine. My 6 year old daughter on the other hand was a problem. Obviously no men are allowed in the women's area, and my wife was not travelling with us. Fortunately on the first day some wonderful Japanese stranger lady, a fellow parent, took my daughter under her wing (devoting about an hour of her time) and all was well.

The hotel serves your choice of Japanese or Western breakfast, which was all fine.

It is a reasonably short walk to the railroad station. We were forced to stay at this distant hotel during the Kochi City Yosakoi festival, because all closer hotels seemed booked up. We stayed 4 nights, and took the train back and forth... trains are a novelty for us, and we enjoyed the scenery of mountains and coastline every morning, so that was a plus rather than a minus.

從中村JR車站步行5-8分鐘便到達酒店，酒店對面也有食店和超市，這食店連續食了兩晚，價錢不貴，味道很好。員工不太懂英文，但也會盡力幫忙，態度親切。酒店有免費電動單車借出，但單車頗殘舊，踩到沈下橋會很吃力，因為入山路後頗多斜坡。酒店有點老舊，地毯有異味，但床舖和洗手間也算整潔，以這個價錢來說不太差。酒店有迷你溫泉和澡堂，房內沒有沖涼地方，如喜愛泡溫泉也不會介意。入住第一晚因酒店溫泉壞了，酒店提供溫泉卷和到附近溫泉，亦負責支付的士費用，這點很讚！酒店有早餐提供，現場支付也只是100日元，雖然只是普通洋式或日式早餐，但味道不錯。大堂在一樓，地下有電梯，但要通知他們少才會開啟，建議攜帶大型行李的客人，要先上一樓通知他們，電梯才可以到地下。以這價錢來說，這酒店算不錯。

房間很小，昏暗，有灰塵跟塵蟎，很不舒服，公共澡堂浴池非常髒，很噁心，早餐非常普通....有免費停車場。

This hotel offered a great breakfast (choice of Japanese or Western food) which was included in the price but only costs 200 yen if you had to pay for it. Seating for breakfast is on the floor, Japanese style, and this whole hotel is a place where you need to take your shoes off as you enter. I had to take a smoking room but there was nothing smoky about it. Current cleanliness was fine, but the carpets throughout the hotel sure could use replacement. There was a toilet and sink in each room, but bathing is in a shared bathing room... one for men and one for women. This was not particularly appealing to me but I went with it. The main thing is to wash your body in the stool/shower area and don't get dirt or soap in the soaking tub. I did not use the soaking tub at all. I was travelling with my 6 year old daughter and thank goodness on the first day some wonderful stranger woman spent about 45 minutes of her time to help my daughter bathe. This is something to think about if you are travelling with family, as men cannot enter the women's bathing room and limited bathing hours prevent sneaking in there at 3:00 AM as I had hoped to do. There was coin-operated washers and dryers for laundry.

I have never been I a worse place. When I got to my room and opened the door the smell of smoke nearly made me choke. Everything even the “fresh” sheets reeked of it. Then I opened the information folder and the first thing you see is the very explicit schedule for the porn channels they offer. Which explains why the female bath can only be opened with a special key...
On top of that, when asking whether I can have a different room I was told, that I should not be surprised at that price and being given an air freshener.
I am not even going to talk about the stains on the floor....
Please DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

On convenient location near train station. Walking distance to restaurants.

中村のこのぐらいの宿としては珍しく大浴場があり、しっかりと休める。部屋はシンプルに古いけど、嫌な感じはなかった。朝食のおにぎりセットは巨大なのにわずか100円というのがうれしい。ただしコンセントが機能していない部屋もあるのでその点はマイナス。

大浴池很好,就算是不方便(因為房間內沒有浴室).如你有大行李的話進入或離開會比較麻煩,因為要經過二樓換拖鞋.

ゴールデンウィークに利用したが値段も手頃で
立地も良く朝食の量も多く満足です！

１００円朝食。いつも助かってます。お風呂も一日の疲れが癒されます！

506号に宿泊しましたが雨の滴る音がうるさ過ぎて寝れませんでした。壊れた雨どいが外にあるのか？ってぐらいの騒音でした。

청결상태도 안좋고 방음도 전혀 안되는 최악의 숙소였습니다.
또한 룸 샤워시설도 없어 7층에 있는 사우나에 가서야 샤워를 할 수 있었습니다.

駅近で助かる。朝食は、和洋どちらか選べてしかも百円！コンビニも近くにある。Wi-Fiが繋がりにくかったのが残念。

駅から５分ほど歩きました。すぐ前に土産物屋や食事処があり便利でした。風呂が最上階にありロケーションがよかったです。お湯はちょっとぬるかったです。沸かし湯だったらもう少し温度を上げてほしいなと思いました。朝食はおにぎりでしたが、ボリュームがあり、おかげで昼過ぎまで腹が持ちました。チェックイン時のフロントスタッフの対応が要領が悪かったのが残念です。

房間细,只可放ㄧ㢳双人床,ㄧ㢳窄小的电視台。迷你雪柜及ㄧ張椅。洗手間沒有浴室,ㄧ定要去公眾女湯或男湯。最差是wifi,時常断缐,要加强改善。加¥100/人,便可選中或西式早餐。職員服務態度好。整体来説酒店是整㓗舒適的。

早餐只需JPY100, 很低食.

必要にして充分なホテルです。7階に大浴場があり深夜1時まで、朝も6時から利用できお風呂好きにはありがたいホテルです。

その代わり部屋にお風呂はありませんでしたので、大きなお風呂が苦手な人には向きません。

100円追加で利用できる朝食は和食(おにぎり)か洋食(トースト)が選べ、ビュッフェスタイルほど豪華ではありませんが、100円と思えば充分なレベルです。

徒歩圏内にコンビニ、お土産物屋さん、地元産のカツオ料理が食べられるレストランがあり、便利です。
