Pros:

The Host Mr. Charuka is super friendly. Very Supportive. The location has a great view and cute little doggos for any pup lovers.. Food is good and very comfortable place where you can enjoy every bit of the stay.

Peaceful stay with warm personal touches
Pros:

I had a lovely stay at Amaya Guest Inn. It’s a peaceful, family-run guesthouse with a really welcoming atmosphere. The host provided excellent service throughout my stay.

The welcome tea and cakes, enjoyed overlooking the view, were such a thoughtful touch and the perfect way to end the day. The location is also ideal - on the edge of town, so it’s close enough to walk in easily but far enough away to avoid any noise. A relaxing and memorable place to stay.

Good Hotel in Haputale
Pros:

Staff was friendly and helpful , property has a nice view and room is comfortable . Hot water is available in shower. Breakfast was supper , had a nice srii lankan meal it was great .

Cons:

Room and Bathroom Cleaniness need more attention, it would be great to have a tea coffee maker and water bottle inside the room. However these are available in common restaurant area outside the rooms.

We had a fantastic room with amazing views of tea plantations, lakes, and hills. The staff were super friendly and served a delicious breakfast.

Was quite a steep road to access the property, which we managed, but some may not.

Clean and quiet with an amazing view, and a very friendly host
Pros:

We booked this place last minute and were very happy to find this place. The host is extremely kind and welcoming, and very passionate about the place he lives. We had a quiet and very clean room, and the breakfast was delicious. And the view from this guest stay is just amazing! Unfortunately we spent only 1 night...

Room with a view
Pros:

We loved everything. Our KING room opened onto the far end of the balcony/patio, so it was very private. Breakfasts were a mix of western and Sri Lankan, with wonderful locally grown tea. (If you need your coffee fix first thing, bring your own instant. There's a common kettle and cups to make your own). We ate two dinners at Amaya, and they were delish as well. The view is spectacular and the location is perfect: close to the center of town but a couple of streets over, so it is really quiet. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Maybe they could offer coffee? Or More cups, cutlery and plates for guests to make their own coffee and have their snacks. These are minor suggestions for an otherwise ideal place.

Pros:

Die Gastgeber waren extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurden Ausflüge und Transfers organisiert. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick.

Pros:

Śniadanie bardzo dobre i urozmaicone: roti, tosty, omlet z warzywami, masło, dżem, banany, dzbanek herbaty oraz świeżo wyciskany sok. Woda była ogólnie dostępna z dystrybutora. Dużym plusem była możliwość zamówienia śniadania na dowolną godzinę, co w przypadku wczesnego wyjazdu na zwiedzanie plantacji było bardzo wygodne.

Pokój nr 2 na parterze: szerokie łóżko z komfortowym materacem, wentylator oraz ładny widok z okna. Do dyspozycji gości jest również jadalnia z widokiem, wspólna strefa wypoczynkowa z dużą kanapą i telewizorem, z której można wyjść na duży balkon z miejscami do siedzenia i podziwiać widoki.

Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje bardzo miły pan zajmujący się obsługą gości – kiedy poprosiliśmy o suszarkę do włosów (poprzednia gdzieś zaginęła), poszedł do sklepu i przyniósł nową. Na miejscu można także zamówić tuk-tuka do zwiedzania plantacji herbaty Sir Thomasa Liptona, z czego również skorzystaliśmy.

Cons:

Trochę stromy dojazd do obiektu.
