An excellent hotel in Centro Historico!
Pros:

This hotel is located in the heart of the Centro Historico and is close to restaurants, churches and plazas. The staff is very helpful with suggestions for what to do in the area; they will also arrange airport pick-up or drop-off for US$30. A good breakfast is included and they take the time to explain about local fruits they serve. Clean rooms with comfy beds. We really like this place and stayed here 3 times, using it as a base to explore Ecuador and the Galapagos.

There were a few hangers in the room but there were no hooks to hang any clothes on.

Pros:

El hotel se encuentra en el mismo centro histórico lo cual puedes ver todo lo esencial del centro caminando. El personal es super amable y siempre estan dispuestos a ayudar y aclarar dudas.

Cons:

La habitación que me tocó estaba muy cerca de la recepción y en ocasiones se escuchaban las conversaciones, pero no fue algo grave. Pude dormir bien toda la noche.

Fin de semana largo en Quito para hacer turismo
Pros:

Excelente hotel familiar en el centro de Quito, a un minuto de la Gran Plaza Central de la ciudad. La entrada es un poco incómoda porque hay que subir una escalera con las maletas. La habitación muy amplia, el desayuno no es buffet pero bastante bueno. Las habitaciones no tienen calefacción pero tienen un calefactor que sirve para calentar la habitación. Muy recomendable.

Cons:

Falta de calefacción en las habitaciones, con necesidad de usar calefactores. Falta de ascensores para subir a la recepción y a las habitaciones.

Roses and history!
Pros:

This is a very special place! The night I checked in, the hostess Lucia reminded me that 'History is important' and couldn't agree more! The entire place is a living and vibrant reminder that you're inside the World Heritage site. Its authenticity takes you to the history book pages, while the whole place is newly refurbished, impeccably clean, sunlit and full of fresh roses. I really enjoyed the information and tips about local foods and agricultural regions that were shared by Lucia during breakfast - these really added on to the experience and appreciation of the place. I'm also very grateful for allowing me to store my luggage after check-out and for safe and airport efficient transfer services. Highly recommend!

Convenient location, room could be more comfortable.
Pros:

The breakfasts were tasty, and Luisa gave an excellent description of the fruits. The coffee was average which was surprising for Ecuador. The location is excellent and security is good. It was consistently clean and tidy.

Cons:

The bed linens were not great. They slid off the bed. The towels were thin. There were three sets of shutters on the second floor windows, and the windows had to be completely shuttered after dark.

All family members and the staff were very kind
Every morning at the breakfast they have a different fresh fruit juice and they explain you for the fruit and the advantages to eat each fruit

This is a great choice for visiting Quito! Clean with an amazing staff. Breakfast is just perfect and they go out of their way to teach you about local produce and some of the culture. Walking distance to restaurant's, the main square with markets as well as the Basilica which is a must see from the inside!!! Bank with international ATM on the corner and they are happy to help arrange transportation to and from the airport. This was my second stay. Very quiet at night and the city amenities by day.
