Nice hotel, great location, charming.
Pros:

Great location, very helpful staff, clean, colonial charm.

Cons:

I personally need a window with fresh air to sleep. In the photos it shows that the room has a window, which it does. But it opens to the interior courtyard, which is covered and enclosed, so no fresh air enters the room.

Uma hospedagem que combina localização, história e acolhida calorosa de seus proprietários.
Pros:

O hotel é muito bem localizado, na Rua Venezuela, a uma quadra da Praça Grande. Da frente do hotel, avistam-se tanto El Panecillo quanto a Basílica del Voto Nacional. Há vários restaurantes e chocolaterias nas proximidades.
O hotel é administrado pelo casal Patrício e Lucia e sua família. A construção, de 1875, foi totalmente reformada, preservando sua arquitetura e sua história, que podem ser percebidas na decoração.
Os quartos são amplos.
O café da manhã é um capítulo à parte. É servido à mesa pela Sra. Lucia, vestida com roupas típicas da região de Otavalo, valorizando e mantendo vivas suas origens. Inclui suco regional, sempre acompanhado das explicações da Sra. Lucia, café, salada de frutas, pães e ovos. Tudo é preparado na hora e servido com muito carinho.

Unos agradables días en Quito
Pros:

Alojamiento familiar en el corazón del centro histórico de Quito . Un trato super amable y cercano por parte de doña Lucía y su hijo Luis y una estancia muy agradable y tranquila . Habitaciones super cómodas y un desayuno casero distinto cada día con jugos naturales , fruta fresca y mermeladas caseras .

Pros:

I could not recommend this hotel more! Located 1 block from Plaza Grande (main square in the historic old town) it is the perfect location for walking around the city. The room was cozy and clean. The best part about the hotel was the staff. From the second we walked in the door we were welcomed and truly made to feel like part of their family. Our room was cleaned every day and we were able to leave our bags after checking out to continue to explore the city before our flight. Breakfast was included and was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again my next trip to Quito.

Lovely hotel, full of character. Lucia and Luis very helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast with Lucia giving lots of detail about all of the local fruits and foods.

Godt sted, vi var uheldige med værelsets placering.
Pros:

Personalet, Louis, var mere end hjælpsom og hjalp fra alt med ture til taxi.

Cons:

Vi havde fået et værelse lige ved receptionen og indgangen og ud til vejen. Uheldig kombination for ens søvn.

A great family hotel, with great hosts and in a very central location
Pros:

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Hotel Las Plazas. The hotel is in a really fantastic location in Quito Old Town, and approximately 5-10 mins away from main attractions: Plaza Grande, San Francisco Plaza and Basílica del Voto Nacional. This family run hotel is very clean, with attractive reception area and dinning room. Lucia, Louis and Christian were all so very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and communication prior to my arrival was great. My bedroom was very quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was very generous and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again the next time I'm visiting Quito.

Pros:

This hotel is located in the heart of the Centro Historico and is close to restaurants, churches and plazas. The staff is very helpful with suggestions for what to do in the area; they will also arrange airport pick-up or drop-off for US$30. A good breakfast is included and they take the time to explain about local fruits they serve. Clean rooms with comfy beds. We really like this place and stayed here 3 times, using it as a base to explore Ecuador and the Galapagos.
