We found that the bathroom at the room we requested hasn’t been cleaned, so they moved us to a different one. The swimming pool hours are a bit inconvenient (closed at 7:00 pm) usually closing time at other hotels is 10:00 pm. Would have been nice to enjoy it, bur not possible with their schedule. Breakfast was very good.
Beautiful property with great breakfast
The bathroom was clogged and as they were trying to repair, dirty water came out of drain and bathroom into the room. Our room was changed eventually but we lost a lot of valuable time and had to deal with mess in room around our luggage.
Nice little hiking trails on resort. Breakfast was good. Everything was clean and safe.

We booked a 2 bedroom Casita for 3 nights and got a warm welcome from Miguel, Alejandra, Jessie, Danny and Dylan who are very nice, efficient, kind and professional. Our casita is near the pool, lovely, spacious, clean, the linen, towels and bath toiletries are superb but you can hear the loud street traffic. Pool is nice with restrooms and outdoor showers. Lush gardens are fantastic. Ample and safe free parking.Room WiFi is very weak, breakfast is average.

We stayed 3 nights at La Foresta Nature Resort. Convenient location to drive to Manuel Antonio (approx 25 minutes), dinner and cocktails at the restaurant was delicious and the staff very attentive. Breakfast was included and ordered off the menu. There were macaws in the morning and monkeys in the nature reserve. Highly recommend staying here
The staff was great and the property was very nice. The pool was nice, and we had macaws and other birds flying over. It seemed like every cabin had an iguana outside, which was fun. Our room was close to the highway, but this really didn't bother us. We wish we had stayed longer!
We lost water supply for half a day. No excuses, backup plan and not even a sorry for inconvenience. WIFI was spotty and electricity was also out for a few hours. Breakfast was bad and extremely slow. The grounds are nice and clean but staff was very unmotivated.

Beautiful hotel, nice size bedroom and huge restroom. Pool is amazing. Breakfast included. Service needs improvement and can be a bit noisy at night due to highway.
Our stay was wonderful. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, especially Andre! He made our last night so fun when we were celebrating our birthdays.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Great staff and service (a special shoutout to Andres at the restaurant)! A beautiful garden, big room and bathroom, cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and luxurious toiletries were the highlights of our experience at La Foresta. Housekeeping did a great job as the rooms were spotless. The toiletries were so good that I bought them to bring home.
It is a nature resort. Since the property is at the edge of the rainforest and it has more acreage of wilderness behind it, it is excellent choice if you like to see birds and animals in nature. We saw more animals at the property than we did at the Manual Antonio Park. We saw monkeys, macaws, iguanas, butterflies, and several different types of smaller birds at the property. We also hiked in the hiking trails in the woods behind the property.
The downside of this location is that you cannot walk to the city. One more thing - if you are sensitive to noise, get a room towards the back of the property; otherwise, you can hear the roaring sound of traffic as the hotel is near a road. At night, noise can be a big issue.
Amazing property! Nice spacious rooms. Main bed was very comfortable. Sofa bed mattress was bad (but they usually are bad). Great staff. Very safe and secure. Beautiful grounds with lots of animals and ziplining on property. Food at restaurant was great. Pool was great. They had a New Year's Eve party included with our stay (that we didn't even know about until we got there). Overall an amazing experience!
