Great comfy warm stay over the cold weekend for a horse sale. The staff were friendly with great customer service. Fab breakfast with a good selection. Evening meal good menu, was busy so took a little while but was good quality. Nice warm relaxing bar area which was great for the cold evening. Shower pressure a little low but rooms good value and clean. Great location will definitely be back.

The staff were rude, they swore in front of you thinking it was appropriate. Terrible customer service!
The room was awful, it had more beds in it than a 3 bedroom house!
Food available was awful, literally as cheap as you could get it and after paying £150 for one night I was gutted I didn’t book somewhere else!

Love this place it's directly on the showground can walk to the halls. Staff are lovely and very helpful food is hot and service great. Can't really fault it.

Location perfect. Room near door and car parked directly outside. Room was quiet. Did not expect a cooked breakfast option so this was much welcomed and well priced for the quality.
No hooks for coats in the room. Would benefit from blackout curtains. Hot water ran brown for a long time before clearing. Water pressure in shower was not great but just enough. Shampoo supplied but no body wash/shower gel. Some staff appeared a bit grumpy.
I was on a motorcycling trip and was wet through from constant rain. I was able to park the bike under cover, and able to dry everything out using the heated towel rail ready for the next day. Although evening food choice was limited I enjoyed what I ordered and didn’t have to go walking into town. The guy on reception was very helpful and welcoming.

Unfortunately on the second night, we had some roudy guests next door, shouting until gone 1am.
