Please note that the shuttle to Praia da Rocha beach is provided free of charge 2 to 4 times per day, 7 times per week between April and October.

A very well priced hotel, which needs some serious triple glazing to the front of it
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite. The rooftop pool area was also a very pleasant area to sunbath

Cons:

We booked a junior suite room 302 which was at the end of the hotel at the front. The room itself was very spacious with a seating area and a huge bathroom, this room also had a fantastic balcony which wrapped round the wand of the hotel and was very large.
The bed was far too hard for our liking also the wardrobe space was minimal with only 4 hangers in each. We rang down to reception and they immediately sent up more, maybe a good idea to leave these in the room for the next guests.
However all these great points were irrelevant, we went to bed at around 10pm on the first night, and that’s when it started, there was constant very loud traffic noise, on the road immediately below, very loud motorbikes and heavy goods vehicles, these kept us awake most of the night, the room does have double glazing patio doors which of course were closed, this did very little to keep out the very loud traffic noise.
We went to reception the next morning and explained the situation, to be told “we’ve never really had complaints about the noise before” well that must be a huge exaggeration of the truth as there is no way anyone could get a decent nights sleep in this room.
We asked to be moved and were offered the same junior suite but at the rear of the hotel room 301, exactly the same nice room, same hard bed and to be fair as you would expect quieter, however I would not stay in the room again as it was still far to noisy.
The hotel is for the money a bargain, BUT if you are going to book here make sure you get a room to the rear of the hotel as you will not sleep well otherwise.

Wonderful staff, but poor sleep
Pros:

Great breakfast, nice pool area with a view on the top floor, but the best was such a helpful and friendly staff!

Cons:

Live music every evening except on Tuesdays - only we did not like it because it was impossible to sleep on the 3rd floor until the show was over. For an active holiday, a good night sleep is so important but we slept poorly almost the whole week.

Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal.

Tolle Lage mit Gehdistanz zum Zentrum, schöne Zimmer, gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Frühstücksraum hat nicht die beste Atmosphäre, viele Leute gleichzeitig und eng gestuhlt.

Pros:

Excelente pequeno almoço e muita simpatia e profissionalismo dos funcionários com que contactei. Fui para participar na queima das fitas e por lapso deixei uma fita uma no quarto, prontamente após a minha ligação, a recepcionista foi logo verificar com as colegas da limpeza se a mesma se encontrava no quarto e ao se verificar que sim, foi logo guardada. O quarto muito acolhedor e as camas confortáveis.
