Brenta Phu Quoc

Did not get the room we booked, reception just said sorry not available. The room we were given was a cheaper room but we were not offered a partial refund. The hot water in the shower did not work. Breakfast was poor quality and cold. We were so unhappy that we checked out 2 days early with no refund.
Got a surprise a few days later when we got a message from booking.com thanking us for our review, odd as we had not done one. On checking we had done a review leaving no comments but a score of 10 rating it excellent. On further examination of reviews it is obvious that this hotel has found a way to do there own reviews on customers bookings and using customers names. The vast majority of 10 rating reviews have no comments attached, informed booking.com but they we not interested.
FALSE REVIEWS

Proximity to the beach is great, just a minutes walk. And several restaurants nearby. Room cleaning could use some help, housekeeping not great at removing the dust. The room itself is fine with blackout curtains, comfortable bed , cold AC and plenty of hot water. The only downside were the unattended children at the pool. It would be great if management would enforce the pool rules. Other than that, pool was clean and nice to swim in on those hot days with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and pool towels.

I have had a comfortable at Brenta Phu Quoc Hotel, staffs are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicous and varied, nice and clean pool, just walk 2 minutes to get the beach, I will come back this place soon, thank you

The staff are nice and kind. The room sizes are very good. Its a budget hotel. beach is 2 mins walk. there is nice bar right next to the hotel with live english music. Buzzing. beach is clean and nice. Pool is well maintained at the hotel.

We stayed here 03 nights during laboration holiday. A family room with 02 separate bedrooms and bathrooms is really comfortable for 04 of us. The swimming pool is large and clean, the restaurant serving breakfast on the 03rd floor comes with gorgeous sea view, not too much choices but the food is so so in overall. Specially, the receptionists are ao friendly and helpful, there was some problem with hot water system in bathroom, I have just call them and they come immediately to solve it. Highly appreciate!

Good location, quality of room for the price was disappointing. Can get as good a room nearby at a smaller resort for 50% of the price. Bar had good deals on throughout the day. Pool area really good. Breakfast distinctly average. Same price but better would be Phuong Binh Resort which is a stones throw and closer to the beach. If the price was lower I would be happy, but just didn’t justify the 800(ish)000VND a night.

The hotel facilities was good. The receptioniat especially the girl in the picture was really kind and helpful, they speak very well basic english.
She help to arrange my 8hour island tour with taxi with a very nice guy too. What i can say although the driver can't speal well english, but he very very keen to bring us tour all the good places like starfish beach, sao beach even recommend good price of seafood in ham ninh fishing village which is also one of his friend too! Call him for the best service! Of course because of brenta receptionist i get to know the kind taxi driver too.
The hotel provide motorcycle rental too at 150dong per day charge.

Only things, muslim really need to pre inform them that you are vegetarian with seafood only. Because the breakfast line did served pork too. So me and my husband only get to eat bread, salad, bolied eggs and coffe from their coffee machine. Overall, the cleanness is well done.

Дали номер без окна с запахом плесени, за обмен пришлось заплатить 90 долл за 6 суток, что меня весьма расстроило, так как я путешественник с многолетним стажем объездивший полмира первый раз столкнулся с такой проблемой только во Въетнаме, в остальном все не плохо. Завтраки, кофе -супер, море под боком.

Ainoa miinus tulee siitä, että huone haisi homeelle (pohja kerros). Henkilökunta vaihtoi heti huoneen kolmanteen kerrokseen. Siellä home haisi lievemmin.

Love visiting this hotel whenevr we are on Phu Quoc, the staff are absolutley brilliant and nothing is too much trouble, they put up with rude Russians who are the only blight on this great hotel. The location is perfect and it takes literally 2 minutes to walk from the door to the sea, the bar and pool are excellent.

I would advise getting to the buffet breakfast early to beat the Soviet hoardes who seem to think they are in some sort of gulag and as such steal all the food they can get their hands on

We booked three nonsmoking rooms. 2 of 3 rooms were smoking rooms. We had to move 2 times. Checked in took more than 30 mins. Rooms advertised showed 3 bigs windows ( sliding doors). We got rooms with no windows. They have smoking every floor in front of common elevators.

The hotel was in a great area, near the beach and alley ways with restaurants and bars. Reception staff were great, very helpful and friendly.
There seemed to be an issue with smelly drains in the bathrooms, perhaps only on the first floor but this was the only issue.
Pool area lovely and breakfast good.

Nice modern hotel, close to the beach. The hotel does have sunloungers available at the beach but only maybe 6, however we did not find this a problem as you could get a beanbag and a beer for 50,000vnd next door :)

The pool area is lovely, there is also a hottub and sauna available however we did not use these during our stay.

Good selection at breakfast, probably one of the best of the hotels we stayed in during our trip to Vietnam.

Room clean n tidy, although saw a few bugs but nothing unacceptable.

Only slight niggle was on check in, they wanted to keep our passports for the duration of our stay, we insisted that we wanted to keep our own passports and they didnt put up too much of a fight. This decision was justified as a couple of hours later we went to reception, which was unattended and there was a pile of passports left on the side.

Overall a pleasant stay!

Absolut nöjda, lite hög kostnad men nära stranden, sjysst frukost, bra stöd, ok rum/säng.
Vi stördes av andra gäster men det var givetvis inte hotellets fel.
