Overpowering stench of air freshener!
Pros:

The breakfast was delicious, although only filter coffee, no cappuccino etc. They brought it out quickly, it was lovely, hot and of good quality.
The bathroom was nicely decorated, ignoring the loo seat that was much smaller than the loo and the lack of a bath mat or bath towel.

Cons:

The stench of air freshener was too much. It was over powering. I don't know if there had been an accident that someone was trying to cover up but it was dreadful. The bed was two singles pulled together, the join in the bed and duvet was very obvious and uncomfortable and the mattress needed replacing some years ago, quite lumpy. The bedroom was a great size but poorly decorated and all the furniture was bashed and in need of a refurb.

Great hotel, lovely food, amazing staff
Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Badgers Mount. We attended a function in the marquee at the hotel and it was lovely. During our stay the staff were amazing; friendly, helpful and accommodating. Although we didn’t use the swimming pool it did look inviting. We booked one of the double rooms which was small but perfectly okay for our one night stay. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and high quality ingredients. We will definitely return

Good enjoyable venue with helpful staff.
Pros:

It was a great venue with the added joy of a swimming pool, which the children in the group really enjoyed.

Cons:

We were in a large group booking with many tables, i thought the wait between table to be served was a little long.

A comfortable, convenient stopover for Mallory Park and local party.
Pros:

Really well located for Mallory Park, light spacious & comfortable bedrooms, all in all a good hotel that we stay at regularly when in the area.

Good place for a night with kids. Nothing special but the hotel was nice, and outdoor pool is lovely

Nice large room, comfy bed, outdoor pool nice cooked to order breakfasts food in restaurant also nice. Not overly cheap but they do have daily deals and a set menu.

Cons:

10am checkout - would appreciate later
Pool use for residents - would like more flexibility on being to use pool for longer around your stay. We did stay at a very hot time so more popular than normal I guess. But still felt it was overtly restrictive.

The pool was open until 10.30pm.and it was heated! We was having hot chocolates and meteour spotting it was brilliant

Beautiful venue and delicious breakfast.
Pros:

The private location and the wonderful room. Breakfast was great.

Cons:

Not allowing a check in of 11pm on the night of the wedding meaning the mother of the groom had to leave the reception half way through to check in on their behalf. The time they’d be arriving was clearly documented early on in the booking.

Lovely location and staff very friendly, but the room needs a lot of tlc

Evening meal breakfast very good.

Cons:

Bed was VERY uncomfortable , sink didn’t drain , bathroom door makeshift lock, side light didn’t work, bathroom door was not secure or on hinges, only attached at the top which meant it was easy for a child to injure themselves.
