Wonderful staff went the extra mile for us and seemed to really enjoy their work. So rare these days

Staff helped us with a very late booking for dinner when we were let down elsewhere!

Very decent standard and good vfm
Pros:

Lovely staff, good breakfast, comfortable room and easy parking

Cons:

Some unfortunate mis communication prior to the arrival day , probably auto message, was irritating and confusing around a late check in

Pros:

I regularly stay at Badgers Mount when travelling for work in Barwell. This is a an excellent hotel with a good restaurant and a hearty breakfast. The rooms are generous, comfortable and well equipped, and the staff are always friendly. There is plenty of parking too.

Cons:

The room heating wasn't on when I initially got to the room, but it soon heated up fine.

Cons:

Room key played up, if we had to go out for too long wouldve caused issue as room was unlocked. Sorted it in the morning but was a bug bare

Pleasant room and well priced and clean. Good WiFi

Cons:

Room felt very tired with old tv, updated shower with old screw holes exposed and new one not fitted well. Bare plaster in some of the corridors

Nice little retreat
Pros:

I have stayed here many times before . It’s a lovely apartment . The hot tub is amazing .

Cons:

Things don’t work cannot get Alexa to work , tv Is a little jumpy , stereo doesn’t work . Minor issues that can be fixed .

So much for the romantic night away
Pros:

We read some great reviews so booked this for a special night away while visiting family but it turned into a nightmare. We asked for breakfast info when we booked and didn’t receive any. The reception staff said they were busy with an event so hadn’t read the emails (sent 36 hours ago). Then we got to the room we found there was an event on. Music extremely loud and running until midnight. Reception staff just said we “should have been told when we booked”. So much for the romantic night away while visiting 😡
