At a next stay in Adelaide I would like to book with the Holiday Inn Express again
Pros:

liked the room, which obviously had been renovated. The bathroom and the solution of the integrated shower was very appealing. The "green" idea was another point I liked.
Breakfast was very good, great variety of cereal, fruit and warm meals.

Cons:

at the peak time of breakfast one had a bit of a problem to find a clean table, but that was a minor thing. My experience with a meal during the day, i.e. a pizza, was not very good. May be the staff were too busy working between kitchen and the reception. Anyway, I really could not enjoy it, it was burnt and too hard to chew.

Comfortable stay with free breakfast
Pros:

The room is of decent size, has all the expected amenities. It was a quiet and comfortable stay. The free breakfast is a great plus, but the range and quality are not the best. Check-in and check-out process are very efficient, and the staff are very friendly

Cons:

Management should consider dedicating one lift for hotel staff at certain hours. I have been on a few occasions disturbed by staff entering the lift on the B level, and holding the door for an extended time. The room A/C is centrally turned off at certain hours of the day, even when I was still in the room which became slightly uncomfortable on the very hot days.

We enjoyed our stay. Perfect for the place, everything can be walked. Not need much to use car.
