Pros:

島の中心に近い場所にあります。
逆に、歩いてビーチに行くのは大変です。
その分、ビーチに近い宿泊所よりも値段は安いです。
近くにお店、レストラン、マッサージ店があるので買い物、食事などに便利です。
最近、公共インフラの電気が島の中心部に整備され、ここも24時間電気が使えます。エアコン無しでもそこそこ快適に過ごせますが、エアコンに慣れ切った人には、エアコン付きの部屋をお勧めします。
部屋は、高級とまでは言えませんが、値段の割には清潔に手入れしてあります。
テレビ、冷蔵庫はありません。
蚊は少しだけどこからか入ってきます。
殺虫スプレーを持って行くと良いでしょう。

パヤム島の真ん中
Pros:

島の真ん中あたりに位置しており、いろいろなビーチやレストランを巡るのに適しています。近くに商店、レストラン、マッサージ、土産物屋さんがあります。ホテルのレンタルバイクがあるので借りる時も返却も便利です。
コンクリート作りのバンガローはメンテナンスの状態が良く、清潔です。
電気を24時間使えます。
洗濯物を干すスペースも十分広いです。

Good value clean bungalows
Pros:

Nice individual bungalows, much better construction that the typical bamboo style. Comfy bed, bright room, clean bathroom (cold water only) and fan cooled the room adequately at night. Wifi a bit patchy but reached the bungalows closest to the restaurant.

Walking distance to one beach, mini market and a few restaurants, a bit of a long walk to the pier but doable. Can rent mopeds from them. Quiet location.
