Friendly staff. Nice and clean room. Easy parking.

Cons:

No lift (but this is mentioned in the listing). Makes it difficult though when you are on the fourth floor.

Cross Hill house is very convenient with clean and comfortable rooms and free parking at the back.
Pros:

I liked the historic location and the view from my bedroom. The bedroom was warm and comfortable. The price was very reasonable and perfect for an overnight stay or longer!

Cons:

The front entrance and reception are a bit shabby and could do with a makeover. Boarded up windows in the room next to reception give the place a rather spooky appearance.
