The breakfast is very good, the hotel is very nice, and it's located in the city center.
We had issues with balcony doors in two different rooms before being upgraded to a wonderful master suite. While the final room was perfect, the move process took over two hours of waiting in the second day. We would have appreciated better communication regarding the delay so we didn't waste our time. Overall, the suite made up for the trouble, but the logistics could be smoother
Spa was excellent
Room was hot and noisy, fans outside the window going all night. Luckily we had ear plugs.Bathroom nice.
Dinner ordinary and far too expensive for what we got. Very overpriced.
Place is fantastic.
Beautiful, luxury hotel in Kenmare. We would definitely come again. Staff were professional and pleasant throughout.
The bathroom was dated and pipes made noises
staff is fantastic and its like your staying at a private estate as special guests.
just need in room coffee maker
Beautiful hotel, rooms were very comfortable, love the radio in the room and loved the balcony.
the handle on one of our showers came off - seemed strange
I had not been at The Park for a few years, and was interested to see how its design refresh and new ownership had changed it. All for the better. The design update is incremental and successful, and the new owners’ modern art collection, on display around the hotel, is very (surprisingly?) effective against the more old-world backdrop. Staff very friendly and welcoming as always, and the food has moved up a few notches - very good.
Immaculate Hotel in a pristine and beautiful setting. The rooms were spacious. The staff were fantastic and the restaurant on site was superb. Nothing but good things to say.
We were a group of ladies who visited the Park to celebrate our Christmas Dinner. We got such a warm welcome from Mark and Grace O’Connor , the General Manager, the minute we stepped inside the door. The ambiance is just gorgeous and was filled with twinkling Christmas lights. We had lovely sea view rooms with comfortable beds and wonderfully comfortable pillows. All in all a fabulous stay and a genuine welcome.
I had a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff were so welcoming and the owner was extremely friendly and warm. My room was unbelievable in terms of quality and view, the food, service and overall experience was fab!
I can only say excellent to all the headings above! Location, accommodation, cleanliness, friendliness and so on.
From when we arrived for our two night stay to when we reluctantly checked out, we loved it. Will be recommending this Hotel highly.
We met with the owners in the Dining Room who were very friendly and went out of their way to welcome us.
We stayed at the Kenmare Park hotel in Nov 2025. All I have to say is if you are looking for a couples retreat dont bother looking around. This place is picturesque, calming, relaxing, friendly and the food was perfect. No need to look any further...mic drop
We stayed for 2 nights as part of our friend's birthday celebrations. The team were extremely welcoming, the complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely touch. Our room overlooked the lakes, it was very spacious, warm and quiet. The bathroom was huge and had a bath which I love. The building is beautiful with period features and a wonderful art collection. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff were attentive and friendly. Dinner was delicious and the little bar was just gorgeous. Overall we had a great stay, the spa is undergoing renovation at the moment and I would definitely like to return when it is completed to try those facilities. I did however have a massage which was excellent, this was done in a room in the hotel while the spa work is completed. Overall the hotel is a lovely oasis, in a beautiful place with a team who try very hard to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
We arrived for our 10 year anniversary having stayed at the hotel a decade ago, and were pleasantly surprised to see it's been refurbished in a delightful way giving it contemporary city touches but honoring its time-stands-still traditional aesthetic.
The team were all so friendly and genuinely kind. I was also on book tour for my novel about Hazel Lavery so the Park Hotel offered the perfect respite between book signings in nearby towns. We won't be waiting ten years to return. xo
My brother in law who is a brilliant
photographer told us about an exhibition on At Art in the Park
(Park hotel kenmare ) drove down on a wet night . Only to see this most magnificent building and we were met by a Fantastic host called Johnathan, who was most engaging and welcoming and gave us an indepth tour of the entire works on display.
Every member of staff we engaged with were amazing and welcoming.
I have to admire any entrepreneur that is willing to open this amazing venue to the public, and not keep it exclusively for the rich and privileged people of society.
It was the Gilles Caron exhibition we went to view, however we were privileged to view Warhol and Scully, etc, pieces also.
Beautiful experience and praise to opening the doors at last to the Kenmare Park Hotel, art is to be embraced by all members of society.
Once again hugh praise to Johnathan for his insight and sharing of his art knowledge.
Thank you.
Fran and Cora Healy.
Everything! From the touch of bubbles and cake on arrival, to the beautiful bedroom suite with garden view m, to the exceptional staff who pulled out all of the stops to ensure I had the perfect wedding morning.
There was a smell from the taps which filled my room. Took running of the taps to get rid of it.
